Edit: Bodega reached out and offered me a full refund. I was not looking for a refund at all, I’m fine paying but not how much it was for how little. They were very professional in reaching out to me and for that I’m willing to give them another shot! Changed my rating from 1 star to 4 star. I think people only come here for wine and the atmosphere. Which is cool and all. Food is trash for the price. Had the Dinero sandwich and I can make a better melt with some deli meat and cheese in my fridge lol. My girl has the Alfredo. Sauce was so thin it barely stuck to the rigatoni. So it’s like eating tasteless pasta. Shrimp wasn’t even pan seared. Tasted boiled or microwaved. People go here to waste money on mediocre food just to make themselves feel important or “high class” I left and got a #7 at McDonald’s ?? the waiter was in a rush as well.

Really enjoyed the Atmosphere with some great wines and a charcuterie with a variety of different items. Our server had some great wine suggestions. We will return soon.

When looking for pizza yo would immediately go to a place called Bodega Wine Dive right? Well you should because the not so typical brick oven pizza's are fantastic. Our time at the bar was made special by our bartender who was personable and helpful suggesting again non-typical drink selections which were home runs for all those who ventured to try them. When we sat down we shared a charcuterie board and several of the pizzas. The blackberry pizza, again not typical, was my favorite from the selection our group sampled.

Went today, first time, had Charcuterie board, some white and red wine, also had a pizza. All were good. Kory was our server and he was super nice and knowledgeable. There was a nice crowd and a cello and saxophone duo playing some easy listening tunes.

So, I have been meaning to check out this place for a while now. Last night was the first time I came to this restaurant. I walked up and noticed that it was a small tucked in cozy place with colorful lights. And by the way it's kind of far out in Lake Charles but it was worth a drive to try out. So my experience first walking in there was a live band, seating everywhere, a little concession stand where they make their popcorn. Then on the right there was a bar which was a nice bar. However, we walked to the very back because the band was really loud so we can have some intimate time and privacy The back room was very nice it had a couch tables and chairs, high tables and high chairs. As soon as we sat down our waiter came and gave us some menus. He didn't ask if it was our first time or not. But that was fine. He did let me try a couple of the wines. Both wines were not that great. I just chose one so I can have a glass. I was thinking this place will have more of a selection and since it says it's a Wine bar. So in the end there wasn't a really good selection of wine by the glass. They need to up their selection and tasting. And maybe they need to host tastings at their venue. When looking at the food menu everything was pretty pricey, and I know that we are in a time in life where things have fluctuated. However, for one Cuttery board and one glass of wine it was over $50 plus tip $60. Very expensive I will not be coming back here until some changes are made because of that. The Cuttery board was beautiful and tasty. But because of the small wine selection, Loud music, and pricy prices I think I'm gonna have to pass on this place for a while. In addition, if you have lots of money to blow enjoy yourself and go right ahead and check this place out. They want you to buy bottles however why buy a bottle if you don't know it's going to be good. I hope they take this review into consideration and make a couple changes. Also, Be prepared for Loud music, small selection of wine and sky rocket prices.

First time at Bodega was great! I CANNOT stop thinking about the experience. My husband and I heard about this place before, but we never seemed to make it across town to check it out. Needless to say, we should've came a long time ago! It had a great atmosphere with tasteful interior design. There's regular restaurant seating as well as couch/lounge areas. They even had a violinist playing the night we went! Our server, Korey, was awesome. He was super attentive and gave us a bunch of recommendations! Not to mention, their on-site wine specialist, Ryan, was amazing! He had great knowledge of the menu, and helped us pick the perfect wine for us from their large menu. The food was TO DIE FOR. We started with the truffle popcorn and a cheese board, both were excellent. We split the Wine Lover's pizza, which was possibly one of the best pizzas I have EVER eaten!Overall, I am more than pleased with my experience at Bodega. I'm going to be recommending this place to friends for a long time!

Nice vibe, clean & friendly staff. Live jazz music was very good! Fig martini and pizzas are good also.

Way overrated. Service is terrible, unless you're sitting at the bar. The whole inside of the restaurant is dimmly lit and has no comfortable seating. There is a covered patio area with awkward tables and more uncomfortable seating. The popcorn has been soggy/ old tasting every time l've had it. The wine is good, which eases the pain of the wait for your mediocre food. The menu is lacking. I guess one thing positive to say is the parking is pretty good

It's ok! Probably could be a 2.5 star but just not the same as before! Incredibly slow and is very loud due to placement of entertainment! And they play sports on TVs! Used to have a funky eclectic vibe, but now just a slow mediocre sports bar! Pizza not the same! Crust used to be thin crunchy, but now it's thicker and gooey! Just not the same! Not sure I'll go back

Fast and friendly service. Live jazz music and laid back atmosphere. Loved my cocktail and the walnut berry salad. Will return in future.
