Love this place. Servers are prompt and friendly. Great deck on the river, and food is good. Not a large menu but what ive had is great, good portions and cold beer. What more could u ask for? Live music on the weekends. I like the shrimp basket peel n eat with crackers...good Cajun seasoning not too spicy.

It woukd be nice if the Owner wanst always drunk and mean to the customers. But good job for keeping out dogs out of the restraunt. Some people don't care that we have allergies and are allergic to dogs.

21+ atmosphere with great casual food. Our favorites are then onion rings, duck wontons, and spicy chili dog! We come here when visiting family and the service and quality stays the same even years later. A true Hidden gem of a laid back bar. Sunset plus the waterfront views makes a great evening for dinner.

I went 5 years ago and it was awesome atmosphere and food, thought I would drive over spend the day I needed to bring my grandson back to lake Charles and was told no one under 21 allowed no problem it's just for maybe 15 minutes and was told no one under 21 allowed on the property do to liabilitys well it's a beer joint you want to talk about liability I'll never step foot there again. Just Saying and I drove a hour and a half for that!

So much potential. Food is okay, service caters to the regulars, and atmosphere is dated. This place could be so much more by adding views of the river from the bar. The bar is dark and not associated with the river. The outside seating is nice, but there is a big handrail at eye level blocking views of the river. This area needs a river bar. Would love to see Loggerheads kick it up a notch.

Happily for those of us with deadly allergies to shellfish, this lovely place does NOT fry everything in the same grease thereby eliminating the possibility of accidentally killing someone. Sadly, most restaurants in south Louisiana do not take this precaution. Thank you so much Loggerhead
