None of us enjoyed this meal or would return here, we’ve crossed it off our Lake Charles list. It was just more expensive than it should’ve been for the quality of food.We noticed they used their house Cajun seasoning on everything, be proud of it but know when to use other seasoning too. Since the same seasoning was used everything was very one note. One of the butters, the shrimp batter, the seafood, even the croutons - they didn’t taste buttery just tasted like dry bread with Cajun seasoning.The waiter kept going on and on about how huge their portions and plates were and how people usually share plate. Our ideas of huge are definitely different. We all felt the portions were small.We had the stuffed redfish - would’ve been so dry had our friends not paid extra like $15 to top it with étouffée.The fried oysters - friends ordered, I didn’t try, but they said they were tiny and underwhelming.The side salad, the ranch was good but watery. The cucumbers were so bitter we couldn’t eat them, is no one tasting the food before it goes out to the customer?The crawfish half and half - étouffée was dry, not enough sauce to rice ratio.The shrimp platter - same stuffing in shrimp and pepper so not much flavor diversity going on. The pepper was nearly raw and the stuffing inside was cold. The stuffing was mushy and had no discernible pieces of crab or shrimp. The shrimp in the stuffed shrimp so tiny. The breading on the fried shrimp was tough and chewy, maybe old?Walking up we all thought this restaurant looked like a repurposed funeral home and the decoration style inside kept up that theme. Lots of grey, muted paintings, heavy drapes. The ambiance is just so bland.We all ended up hungry later and eating again.

I live in Oklahoma City visiting my son and his family. I was blown away...Peyton was amazing server. Food incredible. My new favorite place to eat in Louisiana. Adding the crab cake to the top of my seafood pasta. Wow. Best bread pudding I've ever had. Thank you to you're entire staff. I haven't been here since 2006. Went for my birthday last night and everything was wonderful. The food came out quickly and our server was great.
My husband had to work… I thought my valentines day was ruined. Me and my good friend wind up going to have dinner and our experience was amazing. I always love going to Pats of Henderson. Every chance I get I leave Texas headed toward LA. That’s what I call Louisiana to experience, good food and good southern hospitality. Thank you so much.
