My family moved to LaPlace in 1998 when I was 9 years old. I've been eating here for over half my life and I love eating here every time I visit my parents. Dragon Garden has been my baseline for Chinese food everywhere I go. They still have the best dumplings and crab rangoon around and they still taste just as good as they did when I was a kid. Same family has been running the place the entire time. I wish them many more happy years of success.
The food is good but the lady that takes your orders isn’t friendly at all. She’s very rude, lacks manners and stereotypes customers based on their skin color. Ladies make sure your man is with you when you order. That way, she can’t do all that. Check menu prices they overcharge and don’t buy any drinks there. The Gas Station or stores are way cheaper

The lady running the counter is quick but friendly and helpful. I ordered a bbq wing plate with shrimp fried rice. The wings are huge. The bbq was lightly sweet and tasty. I loved that. I’m somewhat of a light eater so that plate had to be saved for the next day. No way I could down all that food in one go! I recommend this place for takeout. I visit LaPlace for work from TX so I will be eating here again when I’m in town!
