Great food. Quality ingredients, and from what I could tell, loving prepared and served.Kid-friendliness: Fenced off front of house area with games, and space for kids to play; perfect for a family outing. Less kid friendly inside because of the size, but if the weather is nice it’s absolutely perfect.
We come for brunch a few times per year. When it's peak summer like now the only place to sit is indoors! It was comfortable and cool inside. We had the fried boudin appetizer and it was delicious - though 3 pieces it is quite rich so I'd recommend sharing. I had the ranch water and love the way they make it here (simple but refreshing, good lime flavor). The tomato panzanella small plate is a good portion and tasty. I'm so sorry to see the place close. The Fried chicken and skillet biscuits with the homemade pickles was the best. My hope is that I will find these excellent chefs soon at another local venue.
