My experience here was not bad nor was it very exciting. I will start off with the environment inside. The restaurant is very spacious and the decor is very fitting for the style of food, they get a B+ on that. The house salsa is above average on taste with some spice to it. Loved eating here! The overall feel of this place was awesome, really great decorations. The food was so good and I was grateful to have eaten here. I look forward to eating here again during my next visit.

I used to frequent the la Carretas in Laplace, but moved and haven't had it in years. I was not disappointed in the mandeville location. Food was great, service was amazing and the atmosphere was comfortable and entertaining. Will return.
