Uncover Mandeville's Mexican dining scene with Restaurantji's insights.
“Whenever I eat here,I'm Obama,The consume is the pond behind my Martha's Vineyard home,And the rock tacos are my chef, Tafari Campbell. But seriously, I am concerned for the future of humanity, because we have reached the peak in quality and flavor of tacos. And the customer service, at the Mandeville shop, is the best I've received anywhere. Always overly polite and considerate. Very friendly, and it kinda makes me feel like I'm so welcomed that I could just walk in the back and scoop my own consume.I usually get the Rock Tacos, but I've had several other items and have never been close to even considering disappoint.“
“Truly authentic cuisine, and delicious to boot! I'm unsure if anyone there speaks English, but I managed to fumble through the Spanish I knew to order. Only mentioning that so if you go, you know you might need a translator. They were friendly though, and I was happy with my lunch.“
“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant! We come here so regularly, they know our names and preferences. Their food is so delicious and fresh. We love the Pollo del Lago, Pollo Poblano, Salmon Tropical, Guacamole Casero (chunky salad), and they have the best Charro Beans! Their frozen Margaritas are always perfectly delicious!“
“Great experience great price. The taco platter was perfect. Genuinely authentic and delicious Central American cuisine. Open spacious dining area, friendly wait staff, and expedient service. The grocery side next door to the restaurant also has all kinds of great snacks, and anything else for household needs. So glad to have this place near by, and look forward to our next visit!“
“Amazing! I love all the employees, they treat everyone like family. You can tell everything is fresh and they will cook it how you want!! Prices are cheaper than other places. Everyone else who left bad reviews are just lacking common sense ???“
“Awesome food! Al Pastor torta was so good, and the chorizo tacos were some of the best I've had. The lady who served us was super nice, helpful and fun to talk with. The grocery is small, but you can find some great things to cook with that you can't find at our major grocery stores.“
“I stepped into Chivos Mexican Restaurant seeking a convenient takeout option for my family, I stumbled upon their enticing daily special: Chicken Fajita. Atmosphere is perfect for both casual gatherings and family outings. The Chicken Fajita, their highlighted daily special, exceeded our expectations. Not only did my family love it, but the portion size was generous, ensuring everyone had their fill. The price was reasonable, offering exceptional value for the quality and quantity of food provided. As I awaited the preparation of our order, I couldn't resist indulging in one of their draft beers. The accompanying fresh chips and salsa added an extra touch to the experience. The service at Chivos Mexican Restaurant was excellent. The staff was friendly, and swift in handling orders. For sports enthusiasts, Chivos offers a haven with numerous TVs, making it an ideal spot to catch up on games while enjoying a meal or a drink.Highly recommended!“
“The only reason I went 4 stars across the board, instead of the 5 stars like I always give, is that the food was cold by the time we got home which is 5mins away and one of the dinner plates was wrong but still the same price of what I ordered and I enjoyed. BUT I will always recommend ????“
“My husband and I have ordered takeout twice from the Mandeville location and we enjoyed our meals both times. I love the options and the atmosphere. So many little details that make the inside so fun to look around. Can’t wait to dine in! The staff are lovely and accommodating in this family run restaurant.“
“The food is traditional Tex-Mex. This is my go-to place for quick takeout. My only complaint is that they are TOO quick to bring your food when you dine in. I have learned to just order an appetizer and drinks and to hold off on the entrees until we are ready to eat. The meals are delivered within minutes of ordering. My favorite is the queso dip and the chicken quesadillas. The fajitas are large enough for two people to share.“
“This was my first visit to this restaurant, kinda weird, seeing as I grew up in the area. The service was satisfactory, considering there was a huge party of folks in the next room and it was obviously going to take time to serve them all and they were there first. The food came fresh and hot. The tacos were good, although they could have had a little more meat on them. The refried beans and Mexican rice were on point. The beer was ice cold and the waitress was very friendly.“
“We visited El Paso and we are from out of town, I will say the food was exceptional. The service was absolutely wonderful. We had a great experience. I will most definitely go back. I’ve never had bean dip before like they had and it was so good! Very kid friendly.“
“Tried Parish tacos for the first time today and the food was amazing! Service was also so good! You can tell they are passionate about high quality and delicious food. I got the carne asada tacos and they were some of the best tacos I've had. Definitely put Parish on your radar for a great local meal.“
