“A beautiful venue! Gorgeous scenery. We saw alligator and a possum! ? So cute! ? Of course there's mosquitoes, it's on the bayou! ? I didn't pay for a wedding planner, because I couldn't afford it, but I HIGHLY SUGGEST, if you can afford it, to get a planner. This was my first (and only) wedding and I had no idea what was going on most of the time. Everything just kind of worked out at the last moment. The staff was very kind, the food was good, and Heide, who took our reception photos was great! She was very outgoing and had fantastic energy. Also, hire your own DJ or band. There was a switch up at the last moment and some confusion there.“

I love everything on the menu, but some of my favorites are, of course, the Mew Orleans Muffaletta, Shrimp Poboy, roast beef on muffaletta bread, eggplant sticks, and the fried mushrooms. You can't go wrong with anything!“
