Gf and I was passing by and stopped for a margarita. She ordered some tamales to go since these are her favorite in the area. I decided to order me some enchiladas to go. These may just be the best beef enchiladas I have had in Louisiana. The top shelf margaritas need a little work to improve though.
Los Agaves is great Mexican food. Everything we ordered was delicious. I usually don't eat the rice or beans that come with some dishes, but Los Agaves was delicious. The beans didn't have that 'institutionalized food' flavor. You know, like school lunch? Theirs tasted fresh and homemade. And I did not have the usual "taco bell reaction" one would get from other eateries of this type. We will be going back for more.

My friends and I hit this place almost every Tuesday night!!! My fav is the carnitas taco! Chips are warm, salsa is the perfect spice!! Have had several other menu items and all have been great! Seem to have the same waitstaff, we've probably had all of them several times. All very nice, attentive and friendly! Fun atmosphere. Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Tight squeeze between tables but they can be moved to accommodate.
