We love the Fish Shack! We stop here for our first meal every time we visit St. Bernard. The shrimp tacos with coleslaw our my favorite, my wife loves the boudin egg rolls, and my kids love the breaded catfish. I can't say enough good things about there food.
Very tasty fried Louisiana Gulf shrimp with a generous serving of cole slaw and fries. Fried fish looked just as good (but didn't try it). Only complaint with this restaurant is there are no options for dishes not fried, like grilled shrimp or fish.As you can see by the Owner's response below, our complaint is on us....we did not ask but should have -- so shame on us. We will be back!

Super fresh, tender, tasty, fast and friendly❤️ I’m not even a fish eater unless fresh caught, but I ate my 4 pieces with the delicious sauce along with the hot crisp and thin cajun fries! Could eat those hushpuppies all day and the cole slaw was house made and go-od. There are also homemade desserts and soups; will sip mine tomorrow. Wish every family business was as top notch. Get here ??
