I haven't been eating take out much with this crazy quarantine going on but I did see on Facebook a new place that opened up behind Jiggers on Vets in Metairie that had fish plates. I guess brcause this Corona season fell on Lent, every Friday I'd crave some fish fries for Frydays :-) Anyway I called ahead and ordered my and my hubby's fish plate. It was my first time here and I have to say this is my new go to lunch spot. I had the shrimp poboy and O..M..G it was so delicious and tasteful ! The bread was perfect as well ! I was very impressed and will definitely be back!

The last time I tried Buddy’s I had a poboy. But, I read so many reviews about the chicken that I knew I had to try it on my next trip. Be prepared for a 20 minute wait on the chicken. It’s worth the wait. Even though I got my order to go, and drove 10 minutes away to my hotel, the chicken was still hot. Good crispy batter and the spices were perfect. My roast beef poboy was a little dry. Overall solid meal, and would definitely recommend.
