Absolutely amazing flavor, portion size, price, and variety. Cafe Equator never disappoints and is one of the best Thai restaurants in the Greater New Orleans Area.

I order through Uber Eats and it came pretty quickly. The Shrimp Pad Thai was tasty even though the noodles were all stuck together. it was a good portion and enough shrimp and veggies in it. I ordered a side of brown rice and steamed veggies to eat later.

Dinner with friends at Cafe Equator was a really nice experience -- PAD THAI dishes were large portions and very tasty -- GRILLED WINGS and GARLIC RIBS outstanding -- lotsa parking right out front -- construction in area but just a small challenge.

Food is awesome, atmosphere is great, wait staff is courteous but those tables need some tlc....strip and revarnishing.

The food was delicious. My favorite food was stuff chicken wings. The dipping sauce was good. Overall, I really enjoyed my food. Will definitely be back again? Will try other food?

Service left much to be desired. I was there quite awhile. I really wanted to like my food but it just didn't taste fresh. The sweet potato in the Mussamun tasted like it had been frozen, the pineapple tidbits like they'd been out of a can for a few days and I waited forever to get my check. She insisted on bringing me boxes and brought those before the check even though I declined. I had a few bites, paid and left. I make a point to eat local when I travel but I ended up at a chain after that and thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there after wasting $30 at this place.

The noodles where tasty. Especially if you are in the mood for some soy flavor and noodles. The curry on the other hand was pretty basic. Found one piece of shrimp slight undercooked, didn't eat that one. The menu states it's medium spicy , I think but was as mild as mild gets. Would have order HOT if that was the case.a little too sweet even for a sweet curry. Service was lovely, we did come close to closing, so we appreciated them seating us.

The food was amazing! Our server was Terri and she was just as amazing! She gave great recommendations. We were a party of 4. We all loved our dish! The grilled pork plate was what I had abs it was scrumptious! The basil fried rice was absolutely superb! We had the equator egg rolls with plum sauce and they were delightful! Great service and great food!!! Definitely will return!

Had an absolutely delicious (and quite large) pad Tai and my friend had some of the authentic red curry which she loved as well (it had a great spice to it!) They have some very tasty and very strong drinks to pair as well! The desert looked amazing, but the main course was too large to eat anymore!

Tom yum soup is incredible and the basil eggplant-chicken is very tasty, but portion could be bigger. This is my go to Thai place!

Found this little gem on the way out of the mall and am so glad I did! The appetizers are well portioned, smaller plates, but we got the chicken sate and edamame and they were perfect for two. Then the entrées! I got the authentic red curry, full of flavor and a very generous portion, the tofu cooked well, not crispy. And my boyfriend got the pad thai, also excellent. The service staff was also very kind and personable. Will definitely have this on my top list in this city moving forward!

I ordered the Authentic Thai Green Curry and it was bomb!! I've eaten a lot of curry and this one of the best. Packed with flavor and the bowl it came in was a cute touch.
