If you're tired of driving around the city looking for good fried chicken only to find it but can't find a parking place or looking at waiting in line for 25 to 45 minutes every time, try Chaps Chicken in Metairie , Louisiana, best crispy fried chicken and the juiciest breast meat I've ever eaten... hands down!!! One of the best fried chicken places I've ever eaten at. The chicken was fried when you order it instead of sitting under a heat lamp which made the experience much better than chicken that has been fried a long time ago. I ordered the jambalaya on the side which was pretty good but not my favorite the chicken far out rated anything else on the menu. It would be hard to beat this place for the price and the taste.
Great prices, great service, great menu, and above average food. The wrap was stuffed with ingredients and they did not skimp on the avocado. The fried chicken was above average, had a super crispy batter so I recommend eating it ASAP to really experience the crisp! The batter had an ok flavor, just super salty.
