First time going last weekend. I bought crawfish & boiled corn. Everything was good,crawfish was very juicy & they were small to medium size. $5.99 lb. The corn was good as well.

Great neighborhood business! The owner and the ladies were so friendly, professional, helpful and pleasant. The shrimp were a great size and good price. Like to shop at local, neighborhood businesses and Captain Sid's Seafood on Lake Avenue in Metairie never disappoints. They had a wonderful selection of premade stuffed crabs, stuffed artichokes, loaded potatoes, crawfish pies and a bunch of different mixed salads. They also had fresh Alaskan king crab legs, fresh crabs, large 10/12 count shrimp, 14/18 count shrimp and fresh caught fish. When the crawfish are in season they are deliciously boiled! You need to call and place your order because they may be out depending on the time of day you go to get them. You can also shop a selection of spices for your boils at home. We barbequed the large shrimp and they were awesome! Go check them out!!
Oh my gosh, y'all! The Oyster dressing was a huge hit for Thanksgiving this year! This is our favorite neighborhood fish market. We often pick up catfish, the best potato salad ever, and Barq's red creme sodas.Everything here is DELICIOUS! PREPARE YOURSELF!

Ordered Thanksgiving meal from Capt Sid’s, everything was incredible. The oyster dressing and Meliton dressing had so much seafood. The sweet potato’s are my favorite, it was so good. They make it so easy for you. Thank you Ray!!!

So, my family had a craving for boiled shrimp, raw oysters, corn and potatoes today. My husband picked up 2 pounds of boiled shrimp, they smelled bad, were overcooked and very mealy. Totally inedible. I called and was told they had just boiled them? Their response was to bring them back and get more. I politely declined. My daughter said the raw oysters tasted funny. The potatoes tasted like chlorine. What happened Captain Sids? Y'all used to be great. I ended up pitching everything in the trash. What a waste of $56.00.
