I am in heaven cause it’s taco Tuesday!? The best day of the week at zocalo! Margaritas are even better (every day). This is my new go to place! Forget those other places around come here and ask for Rene’. She the best server!!! Manager Javier is great too!Vegetarian options: They have cauliflower tacos and mushroom tacos. They have many other vegetarian choices.

Want to like it but the service is awful every time we go despite it not being crowded. Took 20 min for a drink order. 20 more minutes to bring the drinks out. The queso and guacamole portion size is tiny.. Food took forever to come out. Someone ordered a side of plantains and it’s was a joke. 3 small slices is all you got. Rice was hard. The sides are tiny. I took three bites of beans and they were gone.It’s a shame because some of the food is good but they have to get their service straight and portion sizes larger. Too many other good options around to eat at.

Honestly cannot say enough good things. Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. Best guacamole I have ever had. Cocktails are just perfection. Probably the best Margarita I have ever had, too. You won’t find better cocktails. Their specialty margaritas, sangria, etc are all amazing. Happy Hour is a great value! Staff is friendly, service is prompt, food is delicious and authentic. I’m a pretty regular face, and enjoy bringing others in to try. I just tell them…”You gotta come try the best margarita I’ve ever had.” ??♀️ My fav is the Star of Jalisco, but they’re all delicious. Go often and try all the things! Never disappointed!
The entire experience was great. We were able to get reservations relatively easily, and I do suggest reservations as it's hard to have a walk in unless you sit at the bar. They had a nice drink menu, and the house salsa was wonderful. A little different at first because it had a sweetness to it, but by the second chip I couldn't stop eating it. We ordered a second batch. We had the Guacamole with Mango, and it was great. For Entrees my wife ordered the Shrimp Fajitas, which she loved, and I ordered the Short rib Barbacoa (based on the waitress's suggestion), and it was absolutely amazing. Best thing I have eaten in a long time. This is a great place, entree prices are between 22-28 dollars (except the taco prices are amazingly reasonable), and we will be back.
