I expected a Mexican restaurant but its now a soul food restaurant. The Gumbo was decent and service was ok. I am not sure the restaurant has it figured out they didn't know sizes for portions and service was alittle inconsistent. Ice burg lettuce salad and some hair was the main culprit for losing stars. The food in general was good so I think this place can make it if they do better at managing the business. I give a four and will see you in a few weeks.
I am almost afraid to share my secret on how fabulous this place is! Small and quaint! Old fashioned at a Mexican restaurant? Amazing! Sangria margarita! Perfection! Both dishes we ordered were full of flavor and did not disappoint! This will always be our first stop when visiting!
We were in town during thanksgiving week. Only place we could find to eat. They had turkey ham dressing and all the trimmings. Great place to eat. Great staff! Will be back again probably next year.
