UPDATE: This owner cares about his business! He (the owner) personally came thru with a new order after my original review was posted. Fresh fried fish AND shrimp! The fresh fish was night and day to the original fish received. Flavor in seasoning was still there but could 100% tell it was fresh. Crisp and not chewy one bit. Shrimp was just as good! We visited Christmas Day around 7pm. My partner got the phillycheesesteak on recommendation from our server and I immediately wished we would have gotten 2! The fried okra literally had our jaws on the floor, it was so good. I had the peanut butter cake and again, wish we would have ordered 2 slices. I cant wait to be back in town Saturday because I'm not leaving Natchitoches without stopping by Sam's Southern Eatery again.

Active duty military family here visiting family for the holidays. The service and hospitality of the staff are second to none, and the food was INCREDIBLE!! We are lifelong customers after today’s visit.
