Great place! The beignets were huge! Very delicious and if you don't want to wait in the huge lines at Cafe Du Monde, I thought Cafe Beignet was better! It's also nice that they serve other food items! Missing a star because all their souvenir/ shop items were call kinda dirty.
Recently I was in New Orleans for a wedding and the grits and coffee here were amazing!! As were the beignets with chocolate! We lucked out and got there during a breakfast lull so our wait was not terrible but it's a popular place so the line gets long. Really enjoyed the music too and the fact that seating is outside and the middle is covered because of course it was raining the day we went. If I ever go back to New Orleans I will definitely be visiting this place again!!

We got the famous Beignets, not bad, even if I thought better! (Maybe we had too high expectations...) They look like more compressed donuts, without filling. You can add chocolate/strawberries etc. They probably improve this way! Definitely typical and pleasant atmosphere. Service a little slow, like all the Beignet cafes we've tried.
