This is my favorite restaurant in NOLA, I'm honestly shocked at only being 3.9. Everytime I visit New Orleans I eat here and it's always better than the last. I recommend this to anyone who wants delicious food and drinks. Great atmosphere and location! ? getting hungry thinking about it.
We stopped for lunch here based on a list of recommendations from a local bartender as we were looking for a quintessential New Orleans food. I really wish Yelp allowed half stars because this is decent 3.5 kinda place. It's in a prime spot in Jackson Square next to all the art vendors and street performers and there was an endless line out the door for to-go drinks. Crab Cakes appetizer was amazing! Definitely the best I've had, with a delicious sauce. Did not like the gumbo. Tasted like red beans and rice. Pasta was also good. Service excellent!
