Everything was excellent. The space was beautiful. The staff was so nice and attentive. The food was transcendental. We had the seared pork belly—it melted in your mouth. The yaka mein—a phenomenon I will never stop raving about. The peaches & dream for dessert—an actual, real dream. The cocktails were fantastic as well, for obvious reasons I recommend the Double Impeachment, and the Calyxo was spicy and refreshing. Shoutout to Paul, our server, for his great work!
I walk into a little rustic wooden home with a fairly small yard, could be a little intimidating because from outside it's so quiet and i went in the afternoon for lunch. I would be a little romantic cottage if i go at night, i remember thinking at the time. I walk in the wooden stairs opening the not so solid wooden door in my green Alo yoga pants hoping i dont need a reservation for a table. Charming cocktail bar and restaurant in a beautiful neighborhood. A welcome oasis on a day of exploration. Cocktails and other libations served in a historical setting, and daily happy hours. Cannot recommend this place enough.
