I was attending a continuing education course @ the Hamptons Inn, New Orleans. This restaurants was about 3 bulks away from the conference. They got us in & out within 45 mins. The food was delicious & then portions were just right. I had a crawfish dish & it was great. Our servers were attentively & friendly.

Absolutely the best broiled oysters we've had in New Orleans so far and OMG, the bread rolls are amazing (my daughter is still talking about them a day later!)!!! Entrees were good, but we really enjoyed several appetizers including the gator bites - I don't usually like mint in anything except a mojito, but this was surprisingly great! Had a wonderful dining experience at Cochon. Everything we tried was delicious (alligator bites, cucumbers, gumbo, brisket, Mac and cheese). Would have loved to have a bit more meat on the brisket, but the bites we had were very flavorful. We finished with the strawberry shortcake which was out of this world. Our server was kind and knowledgable. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Cochon and will definitely be back.
