Reviews for Cochon RESTAURANT

Cochon was a tasty and unique take on NOLA food. We enjoyed sampling Cajun staples (such as gumbo and catfish) as well as trying some funky Louisiana dishes, such as fried alligator. Service was incredible. An additional star would have been given for better atomosphere and some healthier options on the menu. Overall, very good experience.

We came here to try the fried alligator which we haven't had before. It literally just tastes like chicken. The gumbo was good but the mac and cheese was the best dish, along with the greens coming in second. Our experience was true when it comes to the server can make or break your restaurant. When we asked our server Rebecca what cheese was in the mac and cheese, she had to go find out. Then she came back with a generic answer of it being a blend of cheddar cheeses. HAHA, full review

Not a friendly or helpful business. The hostess rudely told us leave and go across the street to a more family friendly restaurant. Maybe I'm seeing things wrongly but that to me is considered DISCRIMINATION towards me and my family. But it's probably my mistake for thinking they were a business trying to make money.
