Love, love, love this place. I've been going there since they opened. I'm a bubbles girl and so happy we have a champagne bar in NOLA. GREAT variety, the selections are great as well as the apps/bar bites - especially the popcorn. Love the ambiance of the bar and the patio is a great outdoor option. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, great with pairings and I love the champagne flights.
Wonderful place. There's good service, and then there is great service. Effervescence is great service. Three of us went here, and each got a different bubbly drink. I had the Love You Cherry Much, a rye whiskey-based bubbly cocktail. Delicious. A delightful surprise was the house popcorn (gratis) full of cheesy, spicy goodness. There are nibbles, which we plan to try on our next visit.

Effervescence is a little off the beaten path but is worth the journey. They have an excellent selection of bubbly by the glass, it's not only Champagne but from all around the world. The brussels sprouts were some of the best I've eaten but the food in general was very good. The owner is very friendly, highly recommend making this part of your New Orleans food experience!
