“I was originally gonna go to Mothers Po Boys but given the line I didn’t want to wait so I came to Voodoo Tavern. This place is a no frills low key kinda bar and the bartender was a friendly funny guy. The chef appeared to be drunk and was very slow but the kitchen was tiny so i understood. The Shrimp Po Boy was absolutely delicious it was crispy and well seasoned. The jambalaya was also great. The price was decent and I had a great experience.“

“As someone who has never tried the food from here, I was excited. I ordered my food and it was ready almost immediately. I was extremely pleased with the food they provided. Every employee I spoke to or asked something of while I was there was polite, prompt and accommodating. “Wow, I'm glad I found this place. It was exactly what I was looking for. Found it on Google with a lot of great reviews. I was in town for business and ordered a to go. Girl at the front counter was very helpful and polite. I ordered the Company Burger with bacon and a side of fries. Reminded me of a good "bar" burger with just that little bit of grease that I like. Definitely not a "chain" burger place. Also tried the house tea, that was very good. Next time I'm in town, I'll be back.“
“Visiting from TX: I ordered my daughter a Caniac combo. Did notice until I arrive to her apt it was completely wrong, cause order was confirmed at both windows. I call location, left my info and return a day later to receive the full order replacement. They went above and beyond my expectations.Thank you for exceptional customer service. “Food was hot and fresh and delicious. Staff was super friendly, came by once and made sure everything tasted good and we didn't need anything. My only complaint is it's a really small dining area. My family of five didn't have a table that fit us. It wouldn't stop me from eating there again or anything like that. It just might be something to consider if you're coming there with a relatively large family or group.“

“We missed going to the Royal house and were told this was a sister restaurant so gave it a shot. Normally we avoid Bourbon Street but this was not the loud chaos expected. The service was great the bar was nice and quiet and the service was amazing.I had Blackened chicken with Jambalaya and it was amazing. My wife had a bowl of Gumbo which was also amazing.Tldr food was amazing and if you need a later night meal that has that great NOLA taste hit them up“

“Yesterday my husband, kids and I got Glizzies by Poppa from his stand on St. Charles & Melpomone/MLK. Glizzies are sausages. I had a hot dog and an alligator sausage. They were very good. The buns were good too - definitely not your average hot dog buns from Costco. They also have chips and drinks and you can add jalapeños, onions, cheese and other stuff but I only like mustard on mine. The service was very friendly too. For something quick and on the go I definitely recommend.“
“Raising Cane’s is my favourite chicken restaurant. The chicken fingers are cooked fresh and never frozen. The lemonade is really fresh and tasty and made in the unit from real fresh lemons. The staff is friendly and amazing. Food is prepared fresh when you order it and comes out fast. The special secret sauce pairs well with the fingers and fries. Cane’s specialises in chicken fingers and they do it right. Their tag line “One Love” is perfect and is present throughout your Cane’s experience. “Went here with my kids and they loved it. They even have a sit down area so the kids didn’t have to eat snowballs in my car which was a plus. Only leaving 4 stars because a loaded nacho with 3 smalls, and 1 large snowball was $40. That’s pricey compared to the other snowballs stands. But overall good experience.“

“It's not fancy, but who doesn't love affordable tasty Chinese food for either dine-in or ideally delivery or takeout. Many other cities have places like this all over town but NOLA is a bit lacking - and the high-priced pretentious Chinese joints opening over the past years just aren't great. Ming Garden has reliable, very good Chinese food of both the authentic and decidedly non-authentic variety. General Tso is very good as is Kung Pao and Mongolian Beef. Lo Mein is fine but I've certainly had much better. But for most people this will be one of the better Chinese options in town, definitely give it a try.“
“After passing 50 person lines over and over for cafe Beignet we came across Bon’s street food. Tucked away and perfect. No line and Jamie greeted us with a treat for our pup, and a warm smile, which is of course the way to our heart. Beignet’s were amazing!!Skip the tourist traps and check it out!“
