Stopped in before catching a tour of the Garden District. So glad we did. The donuts, egg sandwiches AND the baguette were all so delicious. The staff was so very friendly, even when we spilled some water. (So sorry.)Highly recommended.
I really wanted to like Gracious Bakery. I pass it all the time on the streetcar and from the outside it looks really inviting. The food is good and the atmosphere is not bad. Unfortunately the service is nonexistent. The two staff members mostly stay hidden, which is likely best. If they have received any training it is not apparent. No greeting of clients or any acknowledgment they are present. I never heard a thank you to any client in the time I was there. Not a very gracious...read full review
