On any weekend other than Mardi Gras, this is probably a great little neighborhood breakfast spot. A bit expensive, especially for coffee, but my BEC on a croissant was pretty good.Didn't handle peak demand very well on Sunday morn.
Amazing food, and service. Love their breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and the side of homemade chips they provide is just the right amount. Banana bread and their pastries are also quite on point, and go well with their iced coffee.

I've lived down the street from Luca's for close to five years. We stop in about once a month on average, more if we can. It's a little pricey but I've never been disappointed with the food or the drinks. They have some new items here and there, but some rock solid standards. I take everyone who visits here for oreo beignets and some food. When I leave the neighborhood, I'll miss walking a couple blocks over for such a solid local restaurant and the coffee treats!
