We were looking for a non-touristy spot after seeing an amazing jazz performance at Preservation Hall. The bartender prior to the performance recommended a few places including The Grapevine. We sat at the bar and were greeting immediately and the bartender Michael was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Really like this little place. The bartender, who was extremely friendly and probably spoke faster than any other human alive, was attentive and made a great Sazerac. Would love to return for the food sometime.

Super friendly staff! We sat in the courtyard and it was chilly outside but they provide small heaters under each umbrella so it was warm and cozy. The food was great, we ordered light- soup and an 'app'- and both were fantastic. The cocktails were VERY strong but it's New Orleans!
