Paladar 511 came highly recommended by the locals, which is always a good sign. Everything about this place was exceptional. We will definitely return when back in NOLA.

We arrived on a Thursday night about an hour before close and didn’t have to wait for a table, even though the staff were clearly handling a bustling front of house. Our server was helpful in selecting wine and we absolutely LOVED the roasted carrots and cornmeal brioche with caramelized onion butter. I’m drooling just thinking about these small plates.Oh yea, the pizza was some of the best wood fired pies I’ve had in awhile, both in restaurant and as late night leftovers the next night.Although the food and vibes seemed upscale, the casual attire and kindness of the staff made it feel warm and welcoming.

Good pizzas but like many places in New Orleans the menu is not very varied. Now when it comes to drinking there is a lot to choose from.

The flank steak is phenomenal! I have been so sad since the Franklin removed the steak from their menu, but now I've found something better! The French 511 cocktail is delicious too.

Eclectic menu and charming atmosphere. Starters are easily made to share and the prices are all reasonable. Food came quickly, so if you wants to linger, let them know. The roasted vegetables and ink squid are recommended.

I wanted to love this restaurant so bad. I saw all the Reddit reviews recommending this place so I had to try it out. Right off the bat, our server seemed annoyed with our presence and I didn’t sense a warm/friendly/inviting personality whatsoever. Our food was delicious, but definitely not worth the explosive diarrhea my partner and I both suffered from the entire morning after eating here. We didn’t eat anywhere else that evening, so I know this is how we got sick.

Paladar is my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. The food is inventive and always perfect. Service is fantastic, and while the place has a fantastic ambiance, it's not pretentious at all. I send any local or tourist here first.

Amazing restaurant. Great atmosphere. Very modern and cozy but also luxurious. There is certain seating where you can see the cooking take place in the entire kitchen. All the servers are absolutely amazing, and the food is incomparable. It is one of the restaurants that I continue to go to again and again.

I made a reservation two weeks prior. They sat us upstairs by a service area, even though the main area had tons of seats available. Service staff would put dirty plates behind my back. This became a noisy part of my dining experience with plates & silverware thrown into bus tubs!Food was ok but served on cold plates. We had to wait for one of the plates to be delivered. Hint Paladar 511- heat your plates up before plating food for diners! Will I ever return- NO!!!

Dropped in for dinner during my visit to NOLA on a Saturday night. There were no tables available but thankfully the hostess found a spot for us at the bar within not too long of a wait. I recommend making reservations if you plan to have dinner here to ensure a spot. The menu had a great selection of small plates and entrees as well as cocktails. Ended up grabbing a couple of small plates (beef carpaccio and smoked beet salad) and an entree (braised rabbit) which were all delicious. The roasted LA strawberries dessert was an excellent way to end dinner.
