Seed was one of two restaurants I bookmarked consisting of vegan gumbo within a radius of my hotel. Being a vegetarian, the vegan gumbo was a must have on what was my weekend getaway in celebration of my birthday. What became my decision maker to visit was how their vegan gumbo appeared in pictures shared on Yelp. As for my visit, I was acknowledged immediately after walking in the door. Seed is a great restaurant. It has a nice ambiance - it almost feels like someplace fancy, but the food prices are very reasonable. I do not normally eat vegan food, but the food was delicious and filling. The vegan beignet was delicious!

We had to wait for about 15 minutes to get the table, not too bad. It is easier to make a reservation to avoid waiting. Very nice ambience in the place. Interesting food choices and very tasty. The only thing I did not like was very small amount of wine per serving. Place is few blocks away from French quarters but not too far to walk.
