Rate reviews 4.5 for what? The food lacks quality, professionalism, and taste. The taste of the salmon is exhaled. The soup was terrible! After I tasted it, I felt like I wanted to throw up. Servers were the rudest people I've ever encountered. The server, 'Ann', doesn't know anything about service. She has a very rude attitude and looks at me in a rude manner. I told her I want sparkling water, but she gave me a rude look.I posted a picture of lettuce with cheese “salad” which is not a salad! If I could give less that 1 star I’ll do it.

After walking for hours, I chilled at the bar. First up, quenched my thirst with the Frozen Pomagranite Mojito. Worth the brain freeze. I had the Superior Oysters and the crawfish beignets. Excellent! Pricey, but seafood always is. Bartender very attentive.

Could not speak more highly of Superior Seafood. We booked out the private room for a group of 17 and were met with incredible food and incredible service. Aimee was so helpful when planning the night and made sure everything was in order. Once there, Tristan our server was fantastic. From the oysters to gumbo to steaks and fish, every single person left raving about their dish. 5 out of 5

Super lively restaurant, and I understand why! The food was delicious, great service, really good cocktails, and just a fun atmosphere. Came in just for oysters and a few drinks. Ended up staying longer for the vibe. The oysters were fresh and plump. Decided to give the chargrilled oysters a try and they didn’t disappoint. Went for the grilled shrimp, so tasty I forgot to take a picture! This place is worth the visit and will definitely come back. Great for groups, probably a little loud for an intimate date.

A local guide recommended Superior Seafood over a couple other places we had on our list. Sure glad he did. It was superb. We were seated outside and that very helpful. It was much more conducive to visiting than inside would have been.

Delicious!!

The good: the service was good and so was the jazz trio. The food tasted good. The food also was efficiently ordered and delivered for a holiday. The not so good: the portions were considerably smaller than previous visits and the prices were considerably higher. My daughter spilled a drink and several employees passed us while cleaning up- no one offered more towels/napkins, a wet towel, or any assistance. We have been coming here for Easter for the past 6 years with the exception of 2020 due to COVID. The food has always been great and the prices were reasonable. This year was not the case. The beet salad, for $15, was tiny. The shrimp and grits were also a tiny portion. For $20-something. For over $30 we had chargrilled oysters and a few of them were very overcooked. The AC also could not keep up and it was very hot inside the restaurant. We drive from Madisonville to come here each year, so this, unfortunately, was a disappointing trip for us.

This restaurant was chosen for Easter celebration because of good ratings. On the corner of Napoleon and St Charles Ave. there is rarely a place to park. It's great for the neighborhood and tourists. The menu had narrowed selection in Brunch and Lunch offerings. The salmon was under cooked. The pressed brisket and ham sandwich was good but there was very little meat. It was pressed to only one side of the sandwich. The other side was just bread. Windows were open. Three piece band was inside and very loud. One would need to scream conversations. We won't be returning.
