You wouldn't expect a menu like they have, in a place like this, when you walk in. They claim to have the best damn shrimp Po boy in town, and they also say their burgers are really good. I sat at the bar, and Paul, the bartender recommended that I get the Twice Fried Pork Chop. As you can see by the pictures, it comes out very impressive. We just returned from dinner at Commander's Palace - supposedly one of the best restaurants in the city. It was ok, but the best meal we had all week was at Tahyo. The burger was amazing and those goose fat fries are to die for. Next time I will skip the palace and eat here twice
Great food and fun times. Service was amazing - Jasper is the best. Wife had the burger and I had the po boy. Both were fabulous and the fries are basically from another world! We will come back, however, just for the musssels. Had a taste and they are unbelievable! You can't go wrong with this joint.
