I'm a king cake snob & won't eat just any king cake. Upon recommendation of a friend I ventured out and tried a new bakery today. The Sweet Life Bakery. I bought the ooey goeey king cake and it did not disappoint . It's not the typical cinnamon roll dough, more like a croissant crust., flakey layers with the ooey gooey filling Mom tried it too and loved it ! 100% recommend trying this. Adding them to my list of the only 3 king cakes i actually like . #thesweetlifebakery
10/10!! BEST king cake in the city. Not super sweet, but sweet enough. I was saying to myself I wish someone had a cookie butter king cake, & glad I found them! Sooooo good, definitely recommend. Is a croissant texture, which I love. Not too doughy.

We had a wonderful experience at Sweet Life ordering our wedding cake. They were able to make my idea for the cake come to life and it was better than I expected! The cake was absolutely delicious. We got a ton of compliments on the flavor & taste. They were easy to work with and sent me pictures of the cake before the delivery service picked it up. I highly recommend them and we will definitely be back!
