OK location(ground floor of DoubleTree Hotel), about mile away from French Quarter. We decide to have a breakfast here and my wife took their buffet with oat meal, yoghurt, fruits, granola etc. and I took Shrimp & Grits Acadian. Nothing wrong with the food, but place was real crowded and noisy and despite our waitress did everything she could, it took too long to have our table cleaned, coffee served and have my food. We sat at our table nearly 10 minutes before our server stopped by to take our drink order. Then we sat another 20 minutes before he remembered we were there. We placed our food order, reminded him of our drinks. Service improved after that, food was delicious, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was vibrant.

Love the food but the service is painfully slow. Took around 20 min to get glasses of water and the food was MUCH longer. We were there right at an hour before receiving entres. Place almost empty. Not busy at all. This is the 2nd time this happened. We were very disappointed initially but I will say the manager made a great effort to make things better.
