“My husband and I both had the chicken fried steak,mashed potatoes and Pinto beans. The steak and potatoes were both delicious. If the potatoes were instant they were the best instant I've had. We didn't care for the beans. Friendly service and reasonably priced. Would eat there again for sure.”

“we have enjoyed dining in for years. The smoked meats are excellent although they do not have ham. Sides are good too, except for the coated fries. I go for the light plate now which comes with two ribs and several meat choices (there is a $2 upcharge for brisket for some reason). One bit of advice, bring a jacket because the temperature is always freezing since the old Dickeys era...”

“For Mexican food, it doesn't get any better. The food is outstanding actually. It is nothing fancy, as Mexican food should be, simple and tasty. The quality of food is spot on and the prices are fair. Service is prompt and the wait staff is attentive. I've had the combination fajitas twice and the cheese enchiladas once. All were very good. The chips and salsa are THE best (In my Opinion) and their white Queso.. well, it simply doesn't get any better. Give this place a try. You'll be glad you did.”

“Go early because they close at 9:00 pmand about 8:30 the cooks won't cook the dine in visitors their food because they say they are cooking for the call in's and that's not right, but if you can get a meal it's the best in Vivian LA. I hope the owner Sam reads this and change the cooks policy.”

“We dined in at around 2 in the afternoon. The place was pretty empty with only a couple of other patrons. The food at the buffet was very fresh! The fried chicken was nicely seasoned, and the rolls were so so good!My only real issue was that both of the high chairs had broken straps and didn't snap so my daughter didn't want to stay seated in her chair.Also, the lady behind the counter was absolutely amazing and very sweet!Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and kid friendly buffet options like mac and cheese, tenders, and mashed potatoes.”

“First time dune in at this location. I really liked the up to date building.I'm a carnivore and order only meat patties... I got 3 large patties and a Jr frosty... They were NOT fresh cooked and juicy as they MUST be when eating plane. So for this reason the food was downgraded this low. Usually all plane meat orders at McDonald's or Wendy's knows to only serve fresh cooked meat patties so they are extra juicy and hot....Guess this location has not had many of these orders.My usual Wendy's always serves me fresh cooked patties.And yes I treat myself with dairy a couple of days a week.....I'd come back here but request fresh cooked patties.”
