“Food is consistently great, the fried chicken is off the chain! So glad we have a pláce that serves amazing hot lunches 7 days a week too. Keep up the great work you guys!”
“Bada's is always a great place to go and unwind, visit with all the wonderful patrons... Weekdays go visit with Debra, Laurie and don't forget Friday's is CinDay... Always great times with Ashley and Maggie ... Live thus place...”
“The placed looked clean. The food was made fresh and the staff cuts the sandwich with a clean knife each time. I got a Monster cheesesteak and some cookies. It's nice to see them washing their hands frequently as well. Overall very pleased.”
“The owner is a wonderful person, and the food was a good price for what you get. All the workers were welcoming and polite. The food was well seasoned, not super hot but not where you cant taste the spice. It's right in the middle, it's perfect. They all range in size, rarely so I ever find a small one. Potatoes were perfect too”
“Good is pretty good for a little truck stop cafe. We went late ie night right before close and food still good quality. Chicken tenders are really breaded well and tasty.”
“Pass by this place a lot on 190. Decided to stop this time for an over night. Ate at the restaurant, had Crawfish Etoufee. Yep, definitely making this my Hwy 190 stop. Bathrooms kinda dated, but works just fine. $5.00 showers. Super nice folks.”
“Great service! This is the only location that has ever told me use the kiosk to order if I want to or they will be with me shortly to take my order. This speaks volumes on today's world. I usually get told I have to order on kiosk or they won't serve me.... Great job at this location.”
“They re-modeled this location recently, for the longest time this was one of the worst McDonald’s around, not sure if they changed management or not but all the employees are great since the re-model so I’m assuming there was some sort of regime change, now it’s one of the best locations around.I’ve ordered McDonald’s frappes at so many McDonald’s locations it’s ridiculous, the way you know if you are at a better location is how full they put the whip on top, if it’s not all the way more than likely they don’t take as much pride in their drinks…Thee port barre location always has whip pouring out the top every time, call it the whip test but it works every time. If your short on or missing whip from the top and it’s not flowing out like a volcano, chances are 15 other things will go wrong with your order, if it’s on the verge of exploding your dealing with pros, this location has a bunch of pros.”
“It's the only place that makes me think twice about getting a large anything. The portions here are extremely generous, and the ice cream is actually really good, not too sweet.”
“Stopped for lunch on our way home from New Orleans to Dallas, and this will be our permanent stop now --> the food was so good, great value, and really nice people! Take out only, so we took it for a picnic in our car. The lot's a bit rough with a closed gas station and hotel as neighbors, but it felt kinda like the neighborhood I grew up in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯We tried one of everything. Get me 2 boudin rolls w pepperjack every day for the rest of my life (easy on the seasoned salt topping, personally.) The burger was great but a bit messy. The chicken wings were great but you could just get the boudin. Bring a cooler to take links home with you, cuz you'll be dreaming about them for days.Vegetarian options: Nothing is vegetarian except the fries *maybe”
“The only reason I’m not giving them a 5 is because the employees could do just a bit better job of greeting and explaining things to customers who may have never been there before. With that being said, my mom and I stopped in by chance on a weekend road trip and grabbed some boudin balls and a crawfish pie for lunch. It was so good that we rerouted our return trip to buy a couple hundred dollars in frozen foods to carry home. We also tried the chicken cracklins for the first time and O M G! I don’t want to accuse them of doing anything illegal but there may be crack in those cracklins! Yum yum yum for my tum tum tum!Seriously, everything we had was amazing! Crawfish pies and chicken cracklins are a must though! Enjoy!”
“I ascended. Thank you Gina, made me the most delicious coffee I've ever had. The Hive was so cozy, felt like home but I could actually focus. It is a beautiful place to be. The food is spectacular, the people, and the drinks most of all. Thank you :)”
“My husband found this restaurant on social media when he searched best Gumbo and this restaurant popped up in his feed. We drove 8 hours and LISTEN, it was WORTH every minute. We had the catfish Mardi Gras, 704 wings, 704 Bang shrimp, and Gumbo! We tried as many items as possible and all of them were prepared to perfection!! We also had desert: the chocolate chip cookies and brownie and they were phenomenal not too sweet, but just right! Everything was amazing! If you want some authentic Louisiana food try BSweet Bistro! We have traveled to New Orleans plenty of times since 2005, but hands down BSweet”
“We love Toby's brunch buffet. Not a lot of vegetable offerings but delicious food. I'm honestly not eating a lot of vegetables anyway when they're offering seafood dishes and cheesy potatoes, rice and gravy, etc. with all the breakfast offerings as well. I definitely don't leave hungry.”
“We were traveling through and stopped in. OMG! The food was SO DELICIOUS! This is my very first time having a boudin, they had several different varieties. We had the jalapeno pepper cream cheese stuffed fried boudin. 5 stars. The BBQ sauce on the pork sausage po boy was outstanding and all the staff was so patient with me ordering and asking questions.”
“Neat history and place. Service was great. Food was awesome. Our group of four ordered a variety. That means kitchen staff is versatile and great. Everything fresh.”
“Simply amazing. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a nice kick. The okra tasted fresh and had a perfect crunch. The rice dressing has a great flavor with a nice spicy kick.”
“Good customer service, the food doesn't take long to be prepared it's hot, tastes fresh. Not alot of parking space. The prices are fair for all Items. The food is Genuine and creative, very good in my book of Tatsy ?”
“Java Square is my go-to coffee shop. I love their lattes, my friends enjoy their freddas, but the friendliness and courtesy from the workers is the main reason for my continued support of this business.”
“Easily one of the better places I've been to for poboys!Where most places do thin sliced roast beef, Kelly's does something almost like chunks, which is so much better than the thin slices from elsewhere. The spicy mayo was phenomenal and a great compliment to the shrimp on the shrimp poboy. We'll absolutely stop back by next time we come through!!”
“On 1/20/24, Ghost Hunting Housewives and Suncoast Films had the pleasure of stopping by Lee's Cajun Cuisine for a delightful lunch. We were truly blown away by the fantastic food and exceptional service provided. From the moment we set foot through the door, it was evident that the staff at Lee's Cajun Cuisine was not only professional but also incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food left a lasting impression on us - it was simply phenomenal. After such an incredible experience, there's no doubt that we will be returning to Lee's Cajun Cuisine in the future. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience. Whether you are a local looking for a taste of authentic Cajun cuisine or a visitor passing through, this hidden gem is not to be missed. Don't hesitate to pay a visit to Lee's Cajun Cuisine - you won't be disappointed! ??”
“This place is amazing! Their chicken is some of the best I've ever had and so are their biscuits. Their shrimp po boy is also excellent and LOADED with shrimp! For $10, you've not gonna find a better value. HIGHLY recommended!”
“They are so Yam Good!!I have come several times for years. 1 pie never makes it home. You will have to wait. Ordering the day before may help. Small business, run by the Momma.”
“By far the best food I’ve ever had in my entire life! Val made the experience that much better and this will be a meal that I remember for the rest of my life!”
“If you're looking for a homey restaurant, this is it! Sarah is the best waitress there and the Nick's Special, Pizza Shack Soecial and Double Cheese breadsticks are the best!! The ONLY thing I dont care for is the muffelata, but that's my taste buds only! Everything else is top notch superb there!!Parking: Parking is a little tight by the restaurant, but a big parking lot next to the finance company building is available, and the parking lot across the street is pretty spacious!”
“Ground beef taco salad started out amazing. Crisp lettuce and fresh slice of tomato with well-seasoned ground beef was wonderful, but it ended up being soupy at the end.”
“I was visiting Louisiana and was blessed with a bbq chicken quarter dinner that was so good! You know it’s good when they got special days and hours for service! lol I only ate the food I didn’t go in to get in. The town is historical and the business had character and looked to be there for a long time; which is great in my book. It’s a nice small town and the food was spicy, delicious, and smoky bbq! The people were nice and friendly too.”
“I love most of the food it’s pretty good for a good price and very convenient when I can’t leave my job to get lunch. They are also the only food place that consistently and in a timely manner get my order right every time! It’s hard to find a place where their workers actually read their tickets in Opelousas!!”
“I love this place! I've been coming here for years to get my favorite boudin balls. The staff is always friendly, the food is awesome. The simple design is very appealing. Highly recommended!”
“It's a drive through but you have to order online ahead of time, family owned, great food, I had boiled shrimp with potatos and corn and everything was on point.”
