YaYa's is a popular neighborhood spot for both the residents and workers in the area for their variety of good choices. YaYa's has become noted for their affordable daily plate lunch specials that feature a lot of great New Orleans and Southern food. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Juan- he's a solid guy and amazing chef. I let him choose my dinner and it was extremely far from disappointing. He made me spaghetti with his homemade sauce and a side of fried veal. Such a simple meal yet taste was beyond simple. What also made the food taste better was the excellent customer service Juan provided. He's passionate about his craft and that's a wonderful thing to see in person. Bless you Juan and good luck !

Went to Yaya’s for dinner last night with a party of eight. It was absolutely some of the best Italian food I have ever had. We started with the cubed eggplant appetizer, delicious. Just about everyone got a different entrée and each comment was extremely favorable. The portions were large, but not to the extreme, the guys were happy. The service was good, very attentive, even for our party of eight. I would highly recommend you give this new Yaya’s Italian restaurant a try for dinner. Chef Juan is from Sandros Trattoria in Metairie.

Great atmosphere, great food! The food is delicious and creative. I generally order from the specials because they are so different than what I would generally do. They never disappoint. Amazing food! If you haven't tried it then you should! If you haven't been in a while go back- so worth it

Our new favorite breakfast place, I can't believe we've just learned about YaYa's!! The employees are super awesome people and the place is just perfect. What I like the most is that you can see the whole kitchen and the cooking process. We had the breakfast on the go and the cast iron skillet... they were both incredibly delicious. We also had a side of biscuits and gravy... that gravy was the best I've ever had in my entire life. I wanted to drink a full glass of it hahah! YaYa's and its employees are just awesomeness

The cast iron skillet breakfast was great! Very personable staff. My fiancé had the steak and eggs, the steak was a little rough, but the service made up for the lack of flavor. Would def come back to revisit the menu.

This is my favorite breakfast joint. They serve lunch items as well but I have only had breakfast there. They always have the best breakfast specials and the owners are so hospitable and really care about their customers. Brian and Susan (the owners) go around to every table and check on how they’re doing and hold conversations with them. If you can, please help support this local business!!

Found this place on Yelp. What an amazing find, the owner "Brian - House Slippers" was the real deal. Gave us real personal service and made us feel at home. The food was excellent, the chef came from a high end local restaurant and it's truly reflected in the food. We had the specials "surf and turf omelet" was next level. The sauce was extraordinary. Paul brought us a sample of waffles with pork, chicken and waffles will never be enough after that. We highly recommend this local treasure.
