I see that its been flagged as closed but I had dinner there today. This place flies under the radar with everyone except the locals since it is always busy whenever I have been there. The seafood gumbo is really good. I had a cup for a starter and it was full of shrimp, crab and oysters. Fried frog legs were large and perfectly done, crispy and tender. Don't let the exterior fool you. For really well done local dishes and great service. Don't hesitate to stop in.
This place has the best fried oysters and grilled catfish in the area. The outside appearance is not very impressive and is easy to pass up if you aren't looking for it. THE OYSTER platter is outstanding with the oysters were done just right and plenty of them. The grilled catfish was done just right and the butter sauce was just the right touch. We will definitely be going back.

This place is so not closed. I eat there once or twice a week. Best fried chicken anywhere. The onion rings are awesome. Like others say, the outside isn't too impressive, but give em a chance. You won't regret it. The seafood platter is very good as well. The service is awesome as well. Tell Miss Connie Brad sent you.
