“Alot of people do not like waffle house. I love waffle house. My kind of people. You dont get looked at funny...they are funny when you start joking with them. This is the best waffle house in west monroe. The two on Thomas are ok...this beats the cake. Food is always good.Parking: Sometimes depending on time of day it's hard to find parking. If you go on Sundays...go before 9-10am.Kid-friendliness: My kids absolutely love waffle house. The waitresses always have a conversation with them. They are always sweet.“

We took a chance and my mouth was so glad we did! That food made my tongue try and slap my brains out! Granny put her foot off in that! In case y’all don’t speak Southern- the food is delicious. ?“

“I am a traveling tradesman, so after I work 12 hr days and so long drives I sometime have to get a hotel in a new area, well the hotel I was at left me across the street from Waffle House, i wasn’t epoxying much more than just a few minutes because I intended to eat at the hotel, and the atmosphere of the cooks and waitresses was absolutely fantastic! They started singing along with the radio and it was so much fun to be a part of! I wanted to join in with the girls but didn’t know the words! Great job Waffle House, this was a great experience for me and great/fun staff and management! And the food was exactly how I remember it.“
“Good little lunch spot. It's in the South side of a church and has about 8 or 9 bistro tables to eat at. The food prep ladies were all friendly. Since I have sensitivities to food additives, they let me check their taco seasoning - no MSG. Good. However, today's broccoli cheese soup starts with a canned soup base, which will have MSG in it, so I avoided that. I had the large Taco Salad and a hamburger and unsweet tea. $13. I asked for sour cream and salsa for the taco salad. I got Catalina dressing and salsa instead, but it was easy enough to change out since they were in little tubs. I also asked for whole wheat bread instead of a hamburger bun for my burger. I received a grilled standard white bread hamburger bun. Not what I wanted or asked for, but too much trouble to change out. While ordering they asked what type of cheese. I was thinking to top the taco salad, so I requested pepper jack. Actually it was for the burger, so I ended up with a cheese burger, which I am not a fan of. I wanted a plain hamburger. But it was OK. And the pepper jack was very mild. No pepper heat at all. I did get the mayo, lettuce, and tomato that I requested, but they forgot the onion I asked for. So, if you want standard fare for lunch, made the standard way that 80% of Anericans want, i.e. the SAD -Standard American Diet, then this is the place for you. If you want something specific or unique or even just slightly out of the ordinary for lunch, look elsewhere.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy ramp access from the parking lot. Men's restroom has wide doors and wide spaces for wheelchairs, but no automatic doors for entrance or the restroom.“

“Busy fun atmosphere, friendly, smiling staff, not a long wait for food, food was worth the wait...got the special which was 2 chili cheese burgers or 2 chili cheese dogs or 1 of each, fries and drink for 11.99...my man and I shared it, was able to be satisfied without being stuffed. Owner was there working which spoke volumes for me , however I told him there was only one thing wrong. He was genuinely concerned, smiling I told him, "he needed to open one in Ruston." La. Tech and Grambling would keep him busy, not to mention all the rest of us?“
“First off, the sweet tea was absolutely perfect, sweet enough but not too sweet. Everything was piping hot. It just seemed better than usual. I did need to add a little salt to the fries, but that's the way it should be. So now I'm overstuffed & happy to let my hubby drive us on down the road to Texas while I nap. “Excellent food and family environment...can watch them fix your food! We drive from Arkansas to hang out here! Highly recommended! ? This is the fabulous crew of ladies that fix the great meals. They make the experience a family oriented one. The owner is also a philanthropist that really pours into his community so who wouldn't want to come enjoy a Coney or a dozen or half of tamales. I highly recommend guys. Come on out and give them a try guys! See you there sometimes!“
