We were really excited to try Kaiju. We were nervous about going because of COVID and it's in a basement and a small space, but we saw we could order a ramen take home kit. And actually, right now everything is takeout. We got four orders of vegetarian ramen that is advertised as vegan, and some extra noodles. The ramen is good, it's just not the kind of ramen I wanted. Great food parking can be tough at times if there's events going on in the center of Amherst they are open lunches right now even though Google says they aren't and the entrance for the pickups is a set of stairways leading downstairs like you're going to a basement to the right of Johnny's

The bartender was very knowledgeable and the drinks were pretty good. This place should not be advertising as serving bbq though because they do not serve bbq. They serve fatty meat that they stated they spray a Smokey flavor on. The meats are not smoked. I didn’t try the other food, but it looked pretty good. Just don’t order the “bbq”.
