Recently relocated and thrilled to discover this fantastic, authentic bakery just a block away! As a sourdough enthusiast, the olive bread here is unparalleled – moist, brimming with flavorful green olives, and boasting perfect crusts with a hint of caramel. My pup, friends and I go there all the time. This used to be a hidden gem, no longer hidden. As these days there is always a que outside. The best bread in entire Boston, perfect crust and moist. Croissants are also perfectly crusty outside but soft inside. And their burnt basque? Oh boy. Aaand, my pup always gets his treatos from them. No idea why people say unfriendly in the review? They are very busy for sure.

Moved to Arlington a year ago and stumbled upon Breadboard while walking one Sunday morning. I try not to miss going on a day I’m home and they’re open. If you want the best bread, croissants, cake slices, or any baked treat, Breadboard is the place to go. Plus, they’re the only place I’ve found in MA that has kolaches (imagine a doughnut but better) that remind me of my time in Texas. Can’t say enough good things about this place!
