“This is one of our favorite restaurants! The food and service are fantastic. Dan, John & Tony bring it every time - they are the A-Team! Last night we tried the “Meaty” Mushrooms and it was excellent! Mixed Fat Moon mushrooms, miso-roasted gilfeather turnips, herb-butter pan sauce, parsnip puree, crispy onion. I am a lover of wild mushrooms, and this dish is one of the best I’ve had. I love how they use farm fresh foods and change up their menu accordingly.“

“I don't consider myself a pizza expert, but I feel very passionately about it. This place has the best pizza I've had in my life. I'm in my 30s and lived in a number of states.Always fast and friendly service, and the guys won't talk your ear off if you make it clear you need to get going. There's nowhere to sit since it's just takeout, but they get you out quick, and you get to see your pizza made just behind the counter, so no guessing games. The pizza has the perfect amount of cheese -- it's melty and gooey and rich but doesn't get stuck in your throat. As a more saucy type of pizza person, it's got all the sauce I need. It's not too oily or dry, it's perfectly cooked. The ingredients just taste fresh and superb.I'm actually writing this review now because I was craving some, but forgot that they're (usually?) closed on Mondays. Since it's in between Arlington and Cambridge, there's lots of easy parking either on the street, near it, or right in front. The only downside I can think of is that there's a little ledge to get inside, so it might be difficult for folks in wheelchairs.Been meaning to write a review for them for a while; been going here once or twice a month for about a year and a half since I moved to the area. Still need to try their other options, but the pizzas are top notch.“

“I think people that are complaining here are overly privileged and don't appreciate the little things let me tell you why. I'm not saying there feelings don't matter but I am struggling in this state, and can't cook at the moment so to get some "nutrients I ordered a pizza from here that would have garlic, parsley etc and I instantly felt better! The pizzas were so good. As someone who lost a lot of family, I'm not going to bicker about pizza. I thought it was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the medium size and it had lots of cheese. We will order from yall again thank you for your service!“

“This place is truly an Arlington gem. The chicken parm sub is a steal. it’s much fuller than it needs to be, but that’s because the people here are so loving and generous towards their customers. But my favorite is their spinach and cheese calzone. I ate it in one sitting - need I say more? This place is a hole in the wall, comforting, good neighborhood joint. It does the people of Arlington proud.“

“Continuing my New England area search for the ultimate in a very particular type of comfort food, I focus all of my reviews specifically on the one and only meatball grinder. Yes, grinder, not sub. I find Greek owned pizza joints very interesting and I love the authentic flavors when done right. But streetcorner pizza and sub shops can sometimcut corners, and those are the joints I'm trying to weed out in my search for a delicious meatball grinder. Lucky for me Olympic served up an extremely excellent, well balanced and hearty homemade meatball grinder. Here's my observations:First criteria is to ensure the meatballs are homemade, see my previous reviews where this is an epic fail for some. These. Are. Homemade. And they smartly slice them so they sit better in that very fresh n tasty and perfectly toasted French roll. Next, the sauce and cheese. The provolone was melted perfectly, and had a nice pull, the marinara was slightly sweet, and my only critique would be that it was molten level hot. So if you're like me, and can't wait to dive in, let it cool little bit, so you don't blow away your tongue by burning it. But that's on me. It was so delicious I couldn't help but devour it! And congrats to them for making a fine sandwich. My only other critique is that they don't offer various sizes so you get one big sub for 12 bucks. You can't get a small, medium or large, but that's OK, they're probably just trying to keep their cost down. It was plenty big the divide up for two meals!! As a bonus, I'm also a fan of an authentic Greek style pizza (my first live being from Newington CT and replicated in Bedford MA at Steve's) and this was a very good Greek pie, but not the best I've ever had. They definitely got the cheese blend and the buttery crust, and, of course, all Greek pizzas are made inside those well seasoned pans. The crust was just a little thin for my taste, I prefer Greek pizza to be a little have a little more rise to it and a little better flavor. But - a decent slice for $3. Hopefully I've convinced you to check out Olympic and the whole menu looks amazing and the service is fantastic, they really know what they're doing there and based on the volume of orders going out the door on an average Friday mid-afternoon, not even peak lunch or dinner time yet, speaks to how popular they are in the neighborhood. Going back for their appetizers, salads, and a full pue for sure . Based on previous visits, the steak and cheese subs are also killer.“

“When I go into an establishment to pick up my food it is a thank you and out the door at most places. Here I was welcomed in as I was entering the door by one of the gentlemen making the pizza. As I got in the man I paid for my food with was engaging, friendly, and asked if it was my first time here. As we talked I could see this was a family run restaurant because you could feel the cohesiveness of the work staff and I picked up on that vibe only family run places give off. Because they consider their customers as family also. I gave this place a five star rating because not only was the service impeccable but the food was delicious. We found a new jewel in the platter of places in Arlington to choose from. Nothing like helping out a family run business in our area. A big five stars for me... Tim“

“I picked up a food delivery job just before the covid lockdown (great timing since I worked in retail..), and they have to be doing something right as I prob get more orders from them than almost any other place. And they've always got the pick-up/delivery orders running on time and on point! Not a single customer complaint (and their customers tip drivers accordingly, considering were gassing up our cars to deliver to people in the middle of a worldwide viral pandemic). Love doing pickups here! Great staff, clearly awesome menu! While you can't currently dine in, please order take out/delivery/buy gift certificates to help them get thru this!“

Onion rings were great - on the bready side but on the good side of bready. Worth it! Also got some Greek stuff a while back which was also real good, although I can’t recall what specifically.“
