Awesome ! Everything was delicious. Best chicken parmegiana I've ever tried. The tiramisu was also amazing and I don't remember the name of the entry but were like risotto fried croquetas. Love this place. The attention was perfect as well

Mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and they went above and beyond! Had some confetti on the table, wrote a nice card, the menu said happy birthday and brought out ice cream at the end! Was a great experience! Highly recommend

Charming spot, minor hitch with the service, but everyone was friendly and the food is delicious, full of fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. I had the bruschetta with ricotta, honey, figs, and walnuts and I could’ve had two! The polpo (squid) salad was equally good, with roasted potatoes, celery, peppers, and a vinaigrette - wonderful! Will return.

The food was very good as well as my espresso martini!! Probably the best espresso martini I've had! Would go back for sure but would prefer not to be rushed. Dinner came out way too quick and seemed in a rush to turn the table.

Mediocre food, rude staff (waiter ripped the pen out of my hand when I was drawing something on paper to colleagues) and offensive management. We got there early on a weeknight and were rudely asked to leave as there were others after us. I have no issue being politely reminded - just not aggressive pushiness after we've spent $$$$. There are so many good restaurants in North End, give the business to someplace that appreciates their customers and has some class.

Best place I ate at in Boston!! The food was absolutely incredible and the atmosphere was even better. Our server was attentive, kind, and mindful of any allergy needs. I really cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely worth the price!

Ciao Roma is a little slice of Italy in the North End. The outside seating is similar to that of an Italian Square. The ambiance is authentic with live music and views of the historic North End. We started with the meatballs and they were on par for meatballs. Not the best I have ever had but I was not disappointed in them whatsoever. For dinner I got the Shrimp Scampi and I have to say I was impressed. The sauce was better than expect and I liked the thickness of the noodle. The only gripe is that they do not remove the end of the shrimp which I think is lazy but to each their own. The rest of my party got the All'Amatriciana and the Gnocchi. Both had rave reviews although the All'Amatriciana was a bit spicy. The brought us bread with oil and balsamic that held me over perfectly. I could not recommend this place enough if you are looking for good food with an authentic Italian experience in Boston.

Ciao Roma is now one of my favorites in the North End. They prepared our table ahead of time for my friends birthday and left a little card. The drinks were amazing as well as the food. Service was great and overall we had a great time. To end the night the server came out with a complementary birthday ice cream that had a ‘Happy Birthday' chocolate on it. Thank you Ciao Roma, I will be sending everyone here for Birthday recommendations!

It was a great experience. I saw on one of the reviews of them decorating their table and providing complimentary drinks for an anniversary so I asked if that can be replicated, which they did! It was very nice of them.

I let the restaurant know someone in our party was celebrating a bday. They had confetti on the table, menus that said happy birthday, a card from the restaurant and ice cream at the end of the meal. Always a great meal, and now I know it's a great place to celebrate a birthday!

Very good atmosphere in the evening in this restaurant! The subdued lighting and the decor make the place very warm and distinguished at the same time. The espresso martini is very good! The food was good too, but it was more the atmosphere that we appreciated.

Waited surprisingly long for hostess to appear; once she got there, she took both us and a completely unrelated party upstairs to the tables (so not very 'personal' service). The table was probably the least desirable location, down by the servers' bar and near the bathrooms and cramped for space. Service was a bit slow overall; server then brought us an appetizer that we didn't order, but didn't bring what we did order. The main meal was delivered by someone else, but the waiter didn't come by to check to see how we were doing until we were well into the meal, and when I asked for ground pepper, it took an additional 5-10 minutes to come back with it - saw them clearing other peoples' tables and things before he decided to get the pepper - by then I was halfway into my meal. Food was tasty, sauce and pasta both very good. But then when it was time for the bill, it was $30 more than should have been, as the original non-ordered appetizer was listed - in addition we were charged for a "complimentary" birthday gelati gift. The bill was corrected upon request, but overall wasn't super impressed with the experience. The music was also not really consistent with the expected ambience - maybe because it was a lunch time, rather than dinner. But it sounded like Kiss108 music. The birthday confetti on the table, the "birthday" menu and the card was a nice touch, appreciated by the birthday guest, but didn't really overcome the overall "meh" experience.

Overall it's a great experience! But the Monday specials I think might affect a bit the smoothness of how it runs. On the good note: the ambiance is incredible, location is beautiful, staff is nice and drinks are delicious! The tiramisu is also amazing. The not so great: We made reservations but still waited 25 minutes to be sat. They shared the tables they were waiting on had already paid but had not left yet. Once we were sat it took over 10 minutes to be greeted by the server. We did get water from other staff during that time. We went for the Dinner for Two for $59. With 1 drink each, tax and tip included it came out to $134 total. Drinks are around $20 each. We each ordered the chicken parmigiana but had to pay an extra $5 for them to add pasta to it (even though the one on their regular menu includes pasta already). We requested one with ricotta on top but it didn't come with it. Once the food arrived, it was also burnt on the edges. It was a huge portion, which is great for leftovers! We made the best of it as it was a nice night out and we enjoyed ourselves. However, keep this in mind if you plan to go doing their Monday Date Specials as it seems to affect their service.
