I first visited about a year after COVID when it was counter service only and you couldn't sit down. I immediately fell in love and now I stop in whenever I can. Now that it's open again it's even better. The staff is amazing, so friendly and they will remember you by name! “Best coffee beans in Boston! I love this place. It’s very old, historic, and beautiful. Aside from coffee they sell other gems as well. But the coffee is the best. What got me is how reasonable the prices are. I’ve been multiple times and sometimes my coffee beans are less expensive then at a grocery store. Which is awesome, especially for the North End of Boston. I even picked up a cup of house blend while I was there. Perfect for sipping while roaming the streets of the North End, and Boston.“

“The drinks are good; however the space really needs some help. There are over 12 tables in a tiny space, packed against the high top tables, and this makes the space feel SO packed and uninviting. Really need someone to think about the design of this space and it would be 100x better. Maybe a communal table and then some small tables. Just some small tweaks would be a huge difference for this actually to feel like a good meeting spot.“

“Night Shift at Lovejoy Wharf is a fun treat. I typically come here before a Bruins came to grab a beer and some food. Night Shift is, of course, known for their beers, and on that front, this location does not disappoint. Anyone who even remotely enjoys beer is very likely to find something on the menu- a mixture of mainstays and rotating offerings- that they will like. The menu is thoughtfully curated, and everything is decent to great. I especially like any of their baked goods, like the giant pretzel and the flatbreads. It can get extremely busy and chaotic during the TD Garden event windows, and this does impact the service and the ambience, but if you're feeling a little generous in terms of time and noise levels, you can't really go wrong in terms of a pre or post game spot for a bite and a sip.“

The energy, the sounds, the taste of fresh pastry in the air blended with the grained coffee were just what I was looking for. Victoria, one of the cafe staff was warm and welcoming. As I was sitting on the bistra bar drinking a great cup of real barista coffee, I noticed the waiters and waitress laughing and having a good time. It was just a great experience to take part in. I ordered a shot of a current specialty espresso, which was absolutely excellent (barista was very helpful in explaining options and picking which one), as well as 2 seasonal lattes, which had the best latte art I've seen in Boston. “Really good eats here! The broccoli cheddar soup was pretty salty but very flavorful and Hearty. The sticky bun was great- fluffy soft bread and plenty of pecans. Also very much enjoyed trying the half sizes of the mushroom melt sandwich, the Butternut Squash sandwich, and the achiote chicken sandwich. The raspberry oat bar was nice too, and the carrot cake was very moist and with a lot of cream cheese frosting that wasn't overly sweet.There are seating areas downstairs and upstairs which include bar seats and benches and regular chairs, as well as an elevator to the second floor. The staff were very professional and friendly and we saw them help visually impared customers with great courtesy.The only thing I would skip is the chai latte- it tasted pretty bland.“

“Amazing Vegan Ice cream. I have a dairy allergy and I’ve tried a lot of different vegan desserts. These taste exactly like the regular desserts.
