Others have complained about how the average pasty cost here is ~$30, so there's not much to add on that front, except to say that these pastys are markedly larger than is the norm: one of them can make an adequate meal by itself. I do object to the fact that this place serves them cut in half, which is contrary to the original purpose and operating principles. My main gripe is with the chips (British for "fries"); we specifically asked if the chips were the proper thick-cut chip shop-style chips, and were assured that they were; permit me to disabuse potential customers of that misconception: they are not. These are standard square-cut fries that can be had at any number of lesser, Sysco-supplied restaurants around the United States. A pub style restaurant serving British delicacies under British names should know the difference, and if you cannot be bothered to make chips properly, than please give them their American name so that customers are not given false hope and doomed expectations. The vibe is pleasantly cozy, although the old wooden church pews that have been repurposed to make booths are slightly too far apart to eat at comfortably. Service was friendly and timely.

Super cozy American take on an English pub. We stopped in because they paid proper attention to Vegans on their menu, but it's definitely not a vegan (only) restaurant. Wife and I had meat pasties. Friend had an excellent curry vegan pasty.Same for desert.. excellent vegan and non vegan options.Unfortunately, didn't get server's name but he was excellent. Attentive but not bothersome. Always there when we needed him though.Awesome place. We were visiting, but if I lived in Boston, we'd be regulars.

I’m a Brit living in Munich so a well poured beer is something I know about. This place poured me one of the best pints I’ve ever had - yes I said EVER! I had a beautiful made to order traditional tender steak beef pasty which came with a divine red wine reduced gravy! No HP needed on this baby! Thank you Shaun my server! Btw: it was an Old Speckled Hen!

I’m not sure that “incredible” would be a big enough word to describe our experience here. We brought our 10 month old baby and were immediately welcomed with open arms. Our waiter was very sweet and offered us great recommendations. I enjoyed an amazing Manhattan and my husband enjoyed a Kentucky Mule. We got the chips loaded, the cottage pie pasty, the chicken pot pie pasty (it replaced the thanksgiving pasty) and the sticky toffee pudding. From start to finish the meal was incredible. The cherry on top was the owner who came and talked to us and said hi to the baby. He was so unbelievably kind and warm. We felt at home. I would go out of my way to travel back to Boston just to revisit this gem. I can’t say enough about the Cornish Pasty Co!

Being 100% honest, this is the best food I've had in Boston to date. The prices may make you a little hesitant at first to want to try this place, but omg you will not be disappointed. I got the steak and swiss and let me tell you it was amazing. So tender and flavorful. Will definitely be going back again soon. 10/10. (Also the $5 Irish Car Bombs are such a good deal)

A lovely place, with 100% authentic, delicious Cornish pasties. But the prices are now ridiculous! My wife and I discovered this place shortly before the pandemic and it became one of our go-to places at least once a week. Lovely staff, terrific food. Then BOOM the pandemic lessens and suddenly we are hit with a check for 60+ bucks for two pies. Forget it. I'm sure that the restaurant is charging what the market will bear, but they've lost two loyal customers.

Amazing food, drinks, and service! Wes produced the most amazing espresso martini I've ever had, followed by a super refreshing and well-balanced Lion's Tail. The Bangers and Mash pasty was delicious; slightly pricey, sure, but the taste was superb and prepared perfectly by the kitchen. The service was excellent; Wes is super personable and takes his time to help find what you want, and is just a warm and welcoming person. Will be back the next time I'm on this side of Boston!

I spend a lot of time in this neighborhood and remarkably just noticed this spot. What took me so long?I learned to love Pasties (plural of Pasty?) in college in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This little pub is THE FIRST PLACE IN NEW ENGLAND where I've found pasties as good as I'd remembered. Lordy, Lordy they were delicious. Most importantly, the ambiance of the place is terrific. Super friendly, helpful staff. Great atmosphere. Excellent beer selection. The last time I was in the UK was the last time I enjoyed a pub lunch this much. Also, a surprisingly great vegetarian and vegan menu. P. S. I took four pasties home for the rest of my pasty-deprived family.

Casual British tavern that specializes in Cornish pasties. My friend and I recently came here to try Cornish pasties for the first time. The place was quite empty on a Sunday afternoon, and we were able to grab one of the booth seatings. We ordered two of their meat pasties including the Oggie and the pepper steak with swiss cheese.Since we didn't have a lot of experience with Cornish pasties, we couldn't tell whether they were authentic or not. Regardless, both were good, and my favorite was the pepper steak pasties which had tender chunks of steak tips that went well with the peppercorn brandy cream sauce. The only letdown was the portion size which we found to be small for the price.

Vaguely resembling super-sized Hot Pockets or empanadas, Cornish pasties originated in Cornwall in southwest England (yes, where Charles and Camilla reigned until recently, having since been succeeded by William and Kate) as portable meals for miners. They are usually formed by placing meat on top of a circular pastry bed which is folded over in half and crimped at the sides. Here, you can find Cornish pasties in a variety of flavors. I enjoyed a seasonal offering of turkey with stuffing, which was a comforting mini-Thanksgiving meal in and of itself. Given the prices, I'd feared that these would be super-sized affairs, but they're quite manageable for one person. Service is super friendly and engaging, so much so that you almost feel obligated to say that your meal is excellent. Which it is... only it is all a bit spendy, as each pasty costs $25-30 each. Turns out they do spend a lot of time prepping and pre-baking things, with the finished product the result of a final 12 minutes' worth of baking. It's all worth a splurge once in a while - especially as a hearty treat for the colder months.

I was really excited to see a Cornish Pasty place near to where we were staying in Back Bay. So we popped here for lunch. I was really shocked at the price of the pasties. Most of they cost $30 each. And while they were pretty decent in size, they were not (in my opinion) worth $30. We ordered the banger and mash pasty, with a side of cheesy oven chips. The chips were nothing fancy. Although the pasty was pretty good, it was not with the price. Also, our server was a legend. Such a sound fella.

Wes the bartender server is so wonderful. He helped me pick the perfect beer (Old Cornish Hen) to compliment my cottage pie pasty. The food is delicious and conforming. The atmosphere is homey and perfect. Go there.

Good sized, piping hot fresh hand pie! Brandon the chef and bartender lady were incredibly sweet and chatted with me at their closing. Took ~20 minutes for pie to bake. Savory and very hot with doughy crust. Cozy moody vibes inside!

The pasties are delicious and the folks are so nice and welcoming! However, as some other users mentioned, the price is astonishing :( 30$ for a pie, that is not so big... If it was $15 that would be okay. Heck, if it was $20, it would still be okay! But for that price it's just too expensive. I'd love to come back some day, but not sure...

Have had this place on my “want to go” list for a long time but am taking it off after seeing that it’s now $30 for a pasty. That’s just a stunning price, plus tip and tax of course.I’m very sorry if a small business can’t survive these days with reasonable prices, it’s really pretty sad. But as a consumer I am COMPLETELY priced out with an eye-watering price like that.Would have loved to try this place.
