I love a bar that takes reservations! This is a huge space but is also very popular, so I love being able to secure a table without battling other patrons. The cocktails are creative and very well-crafted (though not cheap - but what is in MA ?). You will definitely need to show ID at the door, then head downstairs to the hostess stand. They do allow people to walk in (space permitting) - some weekends there is a huge line of people hoping to be admitted without a reservation.

Great music every night of the week. A few of the bartenders are really cool, most are really rude and snobby. A few of them can't even make the simplest drinks. If you're a woman and you go with a guy, they will make his drink stronger. I don't know what they think they are accomplishing with that.

My friend and I used to go here all the time because we lived around the corner. It's definitely a dive bar completely with sketchy groping and the occasional pimp and prostitutes. The DJs are never good and just basically play their iPod mix of bachata, merengue, salsa and cumbia. There is always lots of dancing (which is why we used to go) but we eventually got tired of how rude the staff (especially the female bartenders) are. There are better Latin dive bars out there where you actually feel safe.

This place is everything a good night spot should be : Loud ,cheap and sweaty . They don't charge a cover and the drinks aren't that expensive either. Alot of hot Colombian mami's in here too. Although it may get a bit crowded at times. This place is a low-key , hole in the wall , night spot that always hits the spot. Spanish music is loud . Women are hot... what more do you need ? When they close at 2 head over next door to Las Chivas to see local chongas punch each other and dudes testing who's stereo system is louder... always a night to remember. Oh yeah , this isn't your place if you expect "velvet rope" , "getting a table" , " Top 40" type of place. This is a dive bar/club and you'll have a blast if you like these kind of places.

Sketchy Colombian bar in Eastie. The good is that there is no cover and if you like ONLY Latin music the DJ is great. He is from the same town as my fiance. The drinks are really cheap. The dance floor is tiny and if you are not a native Spanish speaker you will get looks and not the nice kind. The cops show up here almost nightly and they wait outside to arrest people who are drunk and break up fights. FYI.
