Went here for a group dinner with a reservation for 7:45. Our table was empty by 8, which is totally understandable - the restaurant can’t control when the guests prior to you will leave - but they were extremely slow to clean it and we didn’t get sat until 8:15. Took the server awhile to order our drinks and they didn’t come out until 9pm, one drink was unavailable and the server informed us at this point he needed to order a different one and he didn’t receive it for another half hour. Overall the atmosphere was wonderful and food was ok but the slow service soured our experience and made us ask for the check asap so we could take our group to a bar and get more drinks.

The live music was exceptional! And the manager (can't remember her name) acted extremely fast to recover poor service. She wasn't defensive, or dismissive as you unfortunately see these days. She went above and beyond to ensure i walked out happy. I get it, things happen. And unfortunately we caught this gem on a bad day! I'd love to try again after they re open.

Always a great time at Darryl's! The food is delicious, the staff are friendly, and the music is always enjoyable and fun. Sad they're closing for a month to relaunch, but looking forward to the next chapter!

Truly disappointed, not sure if it was an off night or what. My server was all over the place it took two hours for our food, which was super cold. They messed up our drink orders. No one came by to check. One server to 7 tables is pretty ridiculous no one moving with intent I asked for sauce ten times and still never received it. I will for sure not be back here.

We left Daryl's, and came before it shut down for changes. As usual, the food is delicious, but our service was pretty, lousy, forgotten drinks, forgotten, orders, and a rude hostess. Too bad. Looking for forward to some positive changes when you reopen. We were regulars for a very long time and hope to be back again soon.

Everything about this restaurant is poor! It's lacking professionalism. The dining room need reconstruction. For first time goers, if you're making a reservation, please state that you want to be seated in the main dining hall or else you'll be placed in back room watching a TV. For some reason the night that I went, the waitress / waiter seem very confused and not knowledgeable of what to do. We waited a very long time for our drinks. Before we got to our table water was in our or glasses. Not sure where it came from but it seemed a bit sketchy. We waited a very long time to visit this restaurant and it was a bit disappointing to see the service that we received. Now let's talk about the food, if you have high blood pressure, please do not visit this restaurant. The items on the menu is very high in salt. The whole crew scene disorganized and as I said they lack professionalism. I think they all need to wear uniforms so they could look in unison. The chicken wings were quite tasty and the band did really well for what we were able to hear. It's just a odd place. Seem like someone's basement and everyone is just trying to figure things out as they go along

This is one of the best places to eat in the city and beyond. The New Orleans style food is gourmet and like home-cooked at the same time. The ambiance is friendly and comfortable, and the music is excellent. Try it; you will not be disappointed!
I have been here multiple times and have loved every time! Except this one, this experience was absolutely horrible!! First of all we were placed in the back next to were the food was being served. There was no ample place to sit without getting hit by people walking by or being in line!! Next I had to ask multiple time and people for water!!! Not even bar drinks!!! Next the food was definitely not as good as been before!! Most of it was out and had to wait for it to be cooked!!! Then the music was way too loud!!!! My family and I could not think let alone eat!!!! Then once again had to ask multiple people for the check!!! They were not ready for this many people!! They need to rethink how they set up this event in a bigger place or limit the people! I had a reservation ( showed how good that was to have) I will never be back again until they fix what they need to fix and bring it back to what it was! So sad and disappointing!!

It was a sad Sunday for us to realize that the quality of the place has gone downhill considerably. We have been coming to their Sunday brunch for a decade and this may be, for many reasons, the last time we come. The quality of the food has gone down and I specifically requested when I made the reservation NOT to be seated by the food. To my surprise, we got seated exactly across from the buffet bar and had people bumping into me the entire time we were there, while they were going to get their food. There is no more fruit, no more desserts.

Sorry that it's closing down in it's current form but happy that it will be back soon as a new concept. Enjoy having the live music but the sound level was excruciatingly loud. But the food was so excellent, as it has been over the years.
