CASH ONLY. Not nearly enough signage about this. Food is decent if small portions. Affordable prices. Small portions.Very crowded and small space. Bar prices not listed at the bar.Lamb tacos taste like good beef. Oven fries are fine, could be a few more. Burger is surprisingly big. Grilled cheese is also surprisingly big for the price and good tasting.
Recommended dishes: Grilled Cheese, Miller High Life, Hey Sailor

What can I say? The atmosphere, authenticity, menu (brilliant), STAFF & soundtrack can’t be beat. Get the burger and lamb tacos to start. Cocktails were on point. Catch a buzz and order more! We couldn’t praise this hidden gem enough. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in the area.

If you can get in this tiny packed little place the food alone is worth it. The walls are covered in records and there is a big lamp shaped like Elvis's head. You can't call ahead and reserve a table so it comes down to chance Especially if you want a table.

Friendly service, a great local hangout vibe, and decently good, reasonably priced and food served quickly.

Used to come regularly when I lived in Boston. Always come back whenever I’m in town. A place to make lifelong friends. I’d just wish they increased some of there prices instead of kicking us after 90

Super mellow eclectic gem in the South End. Amazing food and staff. It's tiny (part of the charm), so get there early. Loved this place.
Such a cozy, alternative little bar! We were in Boston for two nights and chose this place both nights. Fun staff, delicious drinks, and just an all-around great place.

Cozy little corner shop in the south end that always has a queue of old and new customers. Delux is a great place to either get a drink or have an entire meal. The decor makes you feel like you're snuggled in a retro bar, a feeling that we don't get often these days.

Staff was rude and condescending. Just walked quite a hike back home because staffwould not let me in because I was adjusting my shoe when I came in, due to a foot injury that I sustained. Staff was very adamant on “not going back on their decision” to not let me in, despite the fact that I was explaining the situation about my foot and clearly speaking coherently, clearly not inebriated. They assumed that adjusting / taking my shoe on and off meant I was drunk, despite my rational explanation. When I asked what made him make that decision, he told me it was “because I was slurring my speech” despite the fact that I had not yet spoken to him AT ALL prior to the point when he declared that I was not able to come in, only seconds after we entered the bar. I only spoke to him explaining my foot etc after he had said I was not allowed in, unmistakably a decision made just based on the fact that I was adjusting my shoe. When I explained my frustration to them, they told me I was talking “loud” and told me to leave. Very rude, stubborn, and condescending. Clearly not able to take accountability and care more about personal righteousness than maintaining level-headed rationality and necessary humility. Will not be returning to this bar. Very disappointing honestly, as someone with a physical disability.

Greeted by a lovely man, but cannot say the same about the bartenders. Not understanding why asking for water is such a "weird" thing to do, but thank you to the bartenders who not only didn't get the water, but wined about my friends taking photos on Halloween. If you wanna have fun, avoid this place like the plague.

Old-school divey bar with long-used furnishings, decor of old 50s & 60s album covers and kitschy elements, good to Wow Great menu options, great personable service, a neighborhood treasure.
