We came in for a special occasion and my wife and I left quite happy with our experience. The duck breast, the cocktails, the mood and most of all the service (thank you Kylie W) was top notch. There is also a robust wine selection if that’s more your preference. Recommend for a special date night!

Our duck breast was fantastic, but unfortunately the broccolini underneath the breast ruined all our dish, the broccolini was so salty, that it almost felt I pour a spoonful of salt in my mouth, so disappointing; the worst part was that we tell to the waiter and they don’t even apologize or said something about it.

They were kind enough to spit our pasta and cut our steak to share. The steak and pork were the best parts. Overall though, it just wasn't for us.

This place is French in a good way. We were greeted warmly and seated by the large windows overlooking Mass Ave. The place exudes casual elegance -- candlelight, brick, the ubiquitous wine display. Magically, the waitstaff was there when you needed them and in the background when you did not. We dined on duck confit, scallops, and homemade tagliatelle. Ok, I think you could skip the tagliatelle but the server did warn us it was a "neighborhood" dish. All were well prepared and thoughtful. We enjoyed the combination of jicama with duck confit, and the watercress brought a freshness to the scallops. Would highly recommend trying the goat cheese and espresso cake. It seemed weird to us, but we found the combination delightful. This place has been here for years and appears to be going strong. We'll be back.

While Deuxave is not your standard quick and easy dinner spot, it is the perfect location for an upscale romantic dinner or celebration. It's suitable for a group gathering but probably hits the romantic dinner date vibe best. The cocktails are perfectly made to your preference. I've had done of the best martinis in Boston there. The service is impeccable and all of the front of house staff is knowledgeable and seems committed to you having a wonderful dining experience.

Apathetic and downright unfriendly front of house. Service was very slow, though the waitstaff were mostly friendly. Food was mediocre, especially for the price. Cocktails were decent.

Again, Deuxave excelled at service by professional and kind staff, gastronomic delight with their plating and excellent chefs providing subtle and unique flavors. From the roll to the salad to the entree, everything was captivating and delectable. The only not 100% for us was the mock tail. We lean toward mockarita-style mock tails with a little spice and kick!

We hosted our dear friends for an engagement dinner and the staff couldn't have evermore attentive. From a bubbly toast to start our delicious meal to the delicious chocolate soufflé, everything was elegant and special. A great location for special occasions in the heart of Back Bay!

The food was great as usual but this time the service was very slow. it was not the fault of the server but I understand a glitch in the kitchen. Also the coffee tasted burned ( They did offer to brew a new pot)

I remember the foie from my birthday dinner followed by the duck, the baked alaska birthday cake was beyond delicious....so extra bonus points!! the wine was perfect for the celebration and the service was spot on, a great surprise dinner. Last night, sunday supper, I entertained my SIL, she relaxed, we celebrated, the foie, cheese, soufflé , steak tartare, sole...wonderful wines and times. She is off on her way to the Iditarod ......So, yes we will return .

Our party of six enjoyed our celebratory dinner here. Cocktails were innovative and tasty. Wine list impressive. Service on point. Food was all very good, perhaps slightly oversalted in some cases. Starter portions could be larger, given the price point. Top pick for a special occasion or desire to impress.
