My office got lunch from here yesterday and I ordered a steak burrito, which had about 3 pieces of steak in it. It was basically a tortilla with a lot of rice and some beans & cheese in it. Felt like they were being very cheap for the delivery.

Native californian.Chips 2-3/5. Pretty weakSalsa 1/5. Not really salsa, just tomatoes basically. Do not order chips + salsa. Get queso dip if you want, no one can mess up meltingCheeseEl guapo burrito: ok as mexican food this is a solid 1-2 out of 5. Like laughable. As american food it’s 2.5/5, ok for the price I guess, pretty bland.Overall 2/5. No options for any meat you’d find at any mexican place,: lengua, tripas, etc.Theres a star market down the street, go there and buy ingreidents and cook this food yourself.

I went in believing it after reading the reviews below. It was the worst food I had in America. It seems to be popular among locals, but I don't know why. It's very uncomfortable to eat, and it's the worst taco I've ever had.

This is a very cute little restaurant. And the menu and atmosphere are quite good. The food, however, is terrible. My family and I eat Latin food 2-3 times per week and have eaten at numerous Latin restaurants throughout NY, NJ, CT, CA, NC and SC. From the chips to the tostadas to the enchiladas, the quesadilla and the pescado, the food was practically inedible. The enchiladas were served in a tin tray with tons of grease and soup like material…. My daughter couldn’t figure out if it was supposed to be a soup. The pescado was lightly fried, flavorless code with no acid to the dressing. The carnitas were the best they appear to have on order and were just ok. Even the pico de gallo was flavorless - how can a restaurant mess that up.?.?
Beautiful, well-prepared, and generous portions of great mexican food! I love tiny place, and can't wait to get back to the city so i can have another steak taco!

Love this place. I’ve been coming here since I moved to Boston in 2018 and now that I live outside of the city, I still will make the trip to come here. I always get the el guapo burrito and the plantains. It is perfect every single time. It never misses. We tell anyone that comes to visit to come here so they could love this place as much as we do
Pleasantly surprised by the quality and amount of food for relatively low price!!! Refreshing salsa with delicious homemade guac generously packed upon flavorful charred steak. I highly recommend giving this taqueria a try!

I don't know what part of Mexico they're from, but this place didn't taste authentic to me. First of all they didn't have Lengua or Barbacoa, red flag. I ordered the Carnitas Torta. The carnitas weren't crispy or greasy. They were wet and flavorless. It was so soggy that it fell apart in my hand. The chips and salsa was chips and a little cup of some kind of pico....no salsa with my chips. They did have Mexican Coke. I left disappointed.
