I have going to this Chinese place for years have seen different management changes over the years!! The food quality has changed!! I am a bit disappointed! A order of fried rice with Chicken wings which had only bean sprouts and pieces of pork. No peas no other vegetables was charged extra for onions in the rice. On a rainy day, I wanted comforting soup. Ordered from Golden House for the first time. The hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, and the veggie fried rice. The hot and sour soup was the best. Many ingredients - tofu, wood ear mushrooms, other veggies. Adding vinegar to it made it more perfect! The egg drop soup had silky egg, yummy. This hits the spot, very good portions, like the crab rangoons (maybe put in a bit more crab or if you use imitation crab), spicy Singapore dish is great, good garlic chicken or beef, a bit stingy on the shrimp dish. Good appetizers. All cash keeps prices down but they have gone up a bit twice. Always have to ask for fortune cookies they never ask.
