Been here multiple times. Anyone who I came with really loved whatever we ordered. Recommend- Soup dumpling/Mini Juicy pork Dumpling, Fried Rice, Lamb with cumin and Szechuan Dried Spicy chicken. However, Soup dumpling take-out might be a bad idea. Once it is warm/cold, the soup within solidifies and it doesn't taste the same after warming up. Mapo Tofu and Steamed Jumbo Shrimp with Garlic are ok but will not order again.

Anyone who knows what a dumpling should be must stay away! Very thick dough & tasteless ingredients. I don't know how many friends they have, but suspect many gave them the star ratings. Not me.....

We ordered soup dumplings, beef with string beans, and 2 other type of dumplings. The beef with string beans was AMAZING! The soup dumplings were just ok but the reason why I'm not giving them a good rating is because during the short time that I was there I saw a roach playing on the back wall and another one walking across the empty fish tanks right next to us. I was grossed out for sure. Where you see 2 of them there are 200 more!!! This place got the gate from me (never going back).

Pleasantly surprised by the delicious food here. Came to Chinatown to satisfy my craving for Chinese food and walked in because the restaurant was crowded which we figured meant it was good. Ordered the sweet and sour fish and eggplant and loved them both. Fish was flaky and sweet and sour sauce was perfect (not too sweet). The eggplant was also prepared very well and I enjoyed the touch of basil in the dish. Portions are so generous -- shared with two people and had about half leftover of both dishes (makes great leftovers). Prices are also reasonable ($15/16 per dish) for the amount of food that we got.

Wowowowowowow line around the corner but moves quickly! If you're a small party, prepare to share tables. Best soup dumplings!!!

Came here for the soup dumplings, they were Brett good but the dough was a little thick for me and I feel like it wasn't steamed long enough. But they were still pretty good. Yummy broth. We also got the pork and leek dumplings which were very good same thing tho pretty thick dough. The general Gsos chicken was 10/10 highly recommend!!

My favorite Chinese restaurant in the Boston area! I recommend the soup dumplings (very juicy) and the fried seafood dumplings (very crispy). The space is small and cozy, but the service is fast and the portions are generous.

That's a lot of delicious things here, the mini juicy buns with pork, the salt and pepper tofu, and more! On my last visit I was craving General Gau's chicken. It was amazing. Super crunchy, very sticky, and juicy meat. Sweet and spicy and a good amount of garlic. I mean the crunch was amazing.

Awesome food. Hot and delicious. Price is good. Good portions, nice staff. Try pork and crab dumplings are the best. Similar to Joes shanghai in NYC.Only thing is a small space and so crowded and they sit you in the same small table with People you dont know. No bad for me, but if you are having cautions with covid 19 or need some privacy when you talk with you friends, partners, etc when your eat your lunch, this is not the place. Certainly I will return.

This place is packed at all time (understandably), so be ready to wait a bit even during non-peak hours. Everything came in very generous portions, and we definitely got more than we could finish for two people. We got the pork ears, basil chicken, pork soup dumpling, scallion pancake, and the sandong style pan fried dumpling (with pork and shrimp). Everything was very good.

Insanely busy, small spot. Need your whole party to sit down so make sure you're prepared or you'll be shoulder to shoulder in the door way. Delicious food and amazing soup dumplings! Sesame chicken is crispy and hits the spot. Literally order anything and it'll be good.

Food was great. Prices good. Very tight and busy for seating. Sitting at tables with others just to accommodate all the people wanting to eat. Very efficient in serving and short wait time for food.

Amazing! It's a small place but at lunch, when we went, they turn the tables. At the same time I did not feel rushed. There are countless options, not just in dumpling form. The entrees look and smelled amazing but as all my wife and I ate were dumplings. I highly recommend the steamed chicken & cabbage as well as the steamed veggie dumplings and buns. You won't regret trying them out!

Great meal! My sis wanted to try the crispy stinky tofu here. We came in for a "snack" and ended up ordering so many dishes since everything sounded so good. Shandong pan fried dumplings (5/5): hot and flavorful. They were so juicy that it feel like I got a second degree burn when I bit into one and the juice squirted onto my chin. That's what happens when you're impatient and don't allow the food cool down first. Lol. Mini juicy dumplings aka Shanghai soup dumplings (5/5): probably one of the better XLBs I've had. The dumpling skin had the perfect thickness and the pork filling was tasty. For being called mini, these dumplings were actually on the larger side and required more than one bite. Crispy stinky tofu (4/5): I'm pretty biased when it comes to stinky tofu since I've had incredible ones in Taiwan. So far I haven't been to any restaurants in the states that serve anything comparable. Although the "stink" was mild, I did like how the tofu was served with garlic, cabbage and chili sauce. Five spice cold beef shank (5/5): garlic alert! This dish packed a punch with all the garlic. I usually don't care for cold beef shank, but with all the garlic, I gobbled this up. Braised beef noodle soup (5/5): oh yeah, this noodle soup was legit and I loved that they used thick noodles! Sticky pork ribs (3/5): this was on the lunch special menu. It wasn't particularly good or bad. I found the flavors to be average and could've skipped this dish. Seems like a popular spot! We came here around 3:30pm and were seated right away but definitely a steady stream of customers.
